Tis place has really great customer service. To greeting you at the door and then helping you find items, it was a pleasant Saturday experience! It is easy to be in a good mood when you are surrounded by people who are smiling, joking and ready to help.

Good office max. Lots of parking. I seriously could get lost in that place so I typically ask for help so I don’t wander through the isles aimlessly. Derick was quick to help and very friendly. Thank you!

Normally I wouldn’t review a big-​box store like Office Max, but I had an unpleasant experience that I wanted to share.
I’m recycling an old Macbook through the Apple Recycling program and they will provide all the shipping materials at no charge. You do, however, have to find a FedEx location which are fewer and farther between nowadays. I found out Office Max has one in their store which is very close to where I live, so I figured it would be so convenient!
After packing everything up, I headed over after work one night. Apparently FedEx has a small kiosk with a computer, and I suppose it’s more of a «serve yourself» kind of deal. Honestly, aside from packing up the computer, I didn’t really know what my next step was. I assumed they could help me ship it off from there based on the packing label.
It took about 10 minutes for anyone to look up from whatever it was they were doing in order to ask if I needed help, and after that, it never got easier. The woman who came by to help seemed extremely aggravated that I didn’t know if this was a «drop off» or a «delivery» or whatever the difference is. I was perfectly nice and tried to explain the situation, but it didn’t irritate her any less. She hurriedly typed a bunch of things into her computer and handled me in a very rude, curt way the entire time.
I’m sorry if you’re having a bad day, but if you work in customer service, you need to put aside your own personal BS in order to tend to your customers. I work with people, too, and there’s no need to take out your bad day on someone who doesn’t deserve it.
I’ll avoid coming to this location at all costs in the future.

Office Max is my choice for all my office supplies, have been coming here for quite a while and I never have any bad experiences at this store. it is very easy to find things at this location and the employees are knowledgeable about their products.
I also use Officemax for all of our mailing needs, they have a huge selection of envelopes, packing materials, at very competitive prices, that rival most other office supply stores.

I love the OfficeMax Brown Bag 20% Sale, that they have this time of year. For those who are not familiar with this sale, it is when everything that you can fit into a traditional paper grocery bag is 20% off. The bag you need to use is sent out in the Sunday paper and it is a fun way to shop. I can pack that bag tight and save a bundle. It is how I stock up on home office supplies for the year.
This location has improved on its’ customer service since my last visit. They finally are taking the lead of their major competitor on greeting and serving. I just wish they offered more variety like the other office big box store.

I choose Officemax due to its location. Its across the street from my house. So that means they get my business by default. I can’t say they are any cheaper than their competitors. I just don’t have to drive to the county!
Early every August they have almost freebie prices on school/​office supplies. I like to stock up, not only for me but for any Charity collecting for school kids needing the essentials. Its a good thing!
