Not bad. Ordered Kung pao shrimp, mu shu and chicken curry. Shrimp in the Kung pao was huge. Sauce in the Kung pao and mu shu was a little thick but we prefer it that way. Chicken curry sauce was a little lite and not much heat, also had probably two whole onions in it so it was so so. Fried rice that came with the meals was excellent.

This hole-in-the-wall place is very DELICIOUS!!! Homemade, made-to-order food at a good price! The woman who helped us out was really nice, plus she was also our cook! Overall GREAT on my first visit here! A big thumbs up! I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you’re looking for some good dine-in Chinese food!

I’m not sure why the place gets these low reviews? Myself and my family have been getting chinese there for years now and we’ve nearly never had a complaint. The people who work there are friendly and very aware of repeat customers. We always get excellent(and fast) service. The food is some of the best fast-food chinese I’ve ever had, and the quality is consistently good.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite after a long road trip. We live in the area and have tried many of the local«fast food» Chinese restaurants. First I would like to highlight the positive. The overall cleanliness of the place was pretty good. It was very chilly so we decided to just get our order to go. We only have a 5 minute drive home, we sat down to eat immediately only to find the soup, crab rangoo and egg role barely warm. Our entrees were still very warm though. Other than the less than hot sides I would still give this place a low average. I wouldn’t rule going again but it wouldn’t be my first pick.

Not sure what’s up with the bad reviews? This place is literally my favorite Chinese«fast food»! cheap prices, but made fresh. They have an amazing delicious menu. I get the spring field chicken lunch special and its always good. I’ve tried a majority of the menu lunch specials, all amazing. the people who work here pretty much already know my order when I walk in. I’ve been coming here so long since they first opened, so that’s nice. They have a large lunch menu with specials. I suggest it for anyone craving quick and yummy Chinese in South County. I like them so much and don’t live close anymore, so getting them is a treat. I’ve even searched for a place in St. Charles area like them, but nope. I keep going back!

. I have eaten here over 10 times and for being Asian myself, Panda comes pretty close to what I cook at home.

Not the best Chinese out there, but not there worst. Fried rice is pretty good, chicken dishes are ok can be good, soup is good, crab rangoon good, egg roll great, streamed potstickers great as well.

Decided to try this place today rather than the other place in Butler Hill plaza. Big mistake. Kid working the counter(I’m assuming the owner’s son) Was far more interested in texting than taking my order or answering any questions. I ordered fried pot stickers which ended up being disgusting balls of mushy mystery meat. The cashew chicken was overpriced and consisted of tiny chunks of breading with an occasional tiny morsel of meat inside, surrounded by about 1000 pieces of celery. There were probably 10 cashews in the entire meal(full sized). As I waited FORVER for my food to come out, I saw the kid pulling pieces of chicken and beef off of completed orders and eating them! Are you KIDDING me?! Food was terrible, service terrible. Never again!

As far as fast food mom & pop Chinese eateries go, Panda is very good. It’s a small, bare bones family owned operation. I was waited on by the owners teenage son who was very polite and spoke full English. So, there were no mistakes when I made the usual special requests on my order. I am sure it wasn’t the healthiest meal in town, since my food was clearly sauteed in oil and not steamed, but it was delicious.

I don’t understand why this place only has 2 stars. I have eaten here over 10 times and for being Asian myself, Panda comes pretty close to what I cook at home. Their chicken or shrimp with their house sauce was delicious as well as their wonton soup and their crab rangoons. Plus for you lunch people out there, it’s mostly all under $ 5 for a meal and your choice of egg roll/wonton soup, 2 crab rangoons or an egg roll. Everyone needs to try this place out!

The hubs and I were very excited when we found out a new Chinese place was opening so close to home as we have yet to find our new go-to Chinese near our new home, so we decided to give Panda a whirl a few days after its opening. We ordered our take-out and it was ready within 15 minutes which was nice. We decided to stick to old favorites(i.e. hard to mess up) because really, when trying a new place, it is important to know they can do the basics well. Both soups we ordered, egg drop and hot n sour, were lacking in flavor and heat but were not necessarily bad. The crab rangoon, while you get a lot for your money(8 rangoon for $ 4.50) seemed to be overly greasy and the flavor was also a little off. As was the case with the soups, not really bad, just not great. The chicken lo mein and chicken fried rice followed the lack of «wow-factor» suit and we were left with a filling, yet so-so meal. I’ll probably give Panda another try after they’ve been open for awhile, but it seems our quest for phenomenal Chinese food continues…
