Ed was absolutely awesome. If you explain who you are and what you’re buying for he knows just what works best for you. As a college student that slept on the floor last night he was able to help me out with a great deal and same day installation so my back isn’t killing me tomorrow morning! Would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

We had a great experience at Preferred Mattress (Ed’s Beds)! Ed gave us a great price and we just had our new mattress delivered today.
Ed is, well, I can’t figure out any words to describe him that have not already been used. So, my best piece of advice for you is to GO TO ED’S BEDS!!!

Ed is AWESOME. As a broke college student, I was looking for a nice but cheaper mattress. Ed was so friendly, and let us look around without any sales pressure. I purchased a queen bed set for $ 330 which was absolutely the best price I could find for the quality of the mattress. After visiting multiple mattress stores, Preferred Mattress was the best, hands down. Highly recommend.

This place is excellent.
I needed to get a mattress with same day delivery and it was very easy. The owner, Ed, is a great guy. This is a pressure free environment and they let you relax while you try each mattress. Price was great too.
I have been sleeping in my new bed for a few days and I’m loving it so far.

Owner was on vacation if you believe that (first time in four years we were told) so we didn’t get to meet the man. However it was a fun and informative visit.
We talked through the options and settled on a couple final runners. Only needed the mattress so they knocked off a bit for the foundation.
Well be back to buy, just need to make the final cut!

Just purchased a mattress from this place today. The owner and the other guy were both super nice and helpful. Great prices, and delivered pretty quick. Definitely should support the local guy and check this place out if you need a new mattress.

I checked this place out after seeing all the good reviews on Unilocal.They were right. Ed’s a really nice guy, and he will let you lay on any mattress in the store for as long as you want. The prices seem reasonable (although I’ll admit I didn’t comparison shop as much as I probably should have, the mattress I ended up buying was much less expensive than a comparable one would’ve been at any big chain store).
In all, I’m very happy with my experience here and I will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a mattress.

Ed is the best. Great selection, convenient location. Fast delivery and a friendly place where the owner will take care of you personally. Lots of selection from value-​priced beds to very high-​end memory foam. We did the high-​end memory foam bed and the price was much better than the big stores and delivered FAST.
It’s crazy to NOT to buy a bed from «Crazy Ed.»

What A Great Experience!
My husband and I needed a new bed– and wanted to find someone who was local and in the neighborhood– and we were very nervous that this may be too tall an order to fill. We were pleasantly surprised to find Preferred Mattress and to meet the owner Ed!
Ed knows his mattresses, he enjoys working with people and helping people find the mattress for them. We ended up staying for an hour and half– just because we enjoyed his company!
He had the mattress set delivered THE NEXT DAY and the gentleman delivering it was polite and very friendly.
I cannot recommend this place enough! I’ve already told two people about it and will continue to let everyone know– THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOUR NEXT MATTRESS!!!

I needed a new bed really badly. My mattress was the same one I had purchased right out of college!!! (And I won’t tell you how long ago that was.;) I walked into this place not really sure about what I wanted and all I can recall from my purchase at a big box place years ago was that I felt like I was working with a used car salesman. LOVED this place. No pressure tactics at all, extremely knowledgeable, and happy to let my «pretend» nap on every single mattress on the floor. I left there with a new bed, pillows (GET THE FOAM PILLOWS — -HEAVEN!), mattress protector and box springs for a great price. I am sleeping like a baby and wholeheartedly endorse this place.
