I loved this little place. I only went in a couple times in the year I was in St Louis but it was in my neighborhood & both times I got an iced Italian coffee something or other. I don’t remember the name of it but it was a chill place with amazingly unique design inside. I liked it :)

I ate there for lunch for the first time when I was new to the neighborhood. The meal was good and service was good. Dog bowl outside for my pup.

I’ve been meaning to stop by Restituo for some time now but they had this period where they were doing something with the space and it was closed. They’ve been back open for a couple months now and I managed to stop by this past weekend when we had our 72 degree weather in December! The most notable thing from my visit about Restituo is their giant croissant breakfast sandwich and the terrible state of the main room. First off, amazing breakfast sandwich. Add the bacon and it’s worth the trip if you live close by. The coffee was good but I prefer some of the other shops for coffee in the area. However, this is hands down one of the better sandwiches. Mainly because it’s giant. The staff is super friendly but the coffee shop itself kind of a dump. They clearly got everything from craigslist or a garage sale and have a ton of junk inside. There’s seating… kind of… but they literally have piles of junk on top of tables in the corners. It seems like they don’t really know what they’re doing but they want a homey/hipster look. Anyways, that food though. Pretty darn tasty.

Frankly, I don’t get all the rave reviews. Everything here is mediocre: the food, the coffee, the service, the selection. The only thing to really appreciate here is the décor, but I need more from a coffee shop than a pseudo twee vibe. I only came here because it is nearby and that’s the only reason I went back. Also, the hours listed here are wrong. I walked there before work for a quick bite and ended up wasting twenty minutes of my time and going to work not having eaten all day. If you’re in Tower Grove and want coffee, go to Hartford.

Great Coffee, I stop by once or twice a week and Kimberly stops by almost every day. I love the chicken sandwich. Thanks for the support of the Shaw Open Golf Tournament for Shaw Community Center.

A great addition to Shaw’s other great small businesses. Really love the vibe. The iced coffee is delicious and I can’t stop eating the oat bites — great quick snack on my way to work. The staff is really nice and helpful(and as a bonus — good-looking). If you love the handmade mug you’re drinking from — you can take it home(look for the pricetag underneath). This is a perfect place to meet your neighbors or read a book.

Nicole can make whatever you want, but the plain coffee is fantastic. The store is a cool space with rehabbed furniture.

It was nice to come across a coffee shop that isn’t afraid to do its own thing. Unique menu, original décor, delicious coffee, and friendly staff. Perfect neighborhood coffee shop.

Best cappuccino I’ve had in a long time. Absolutely perfect. Expect a bit of a wait, but it’s totally worth it.

Wonderful coffee ~ hot or iced! And if you are ever there and the panini includes marinara, get it even if you aren’t hungry… it’s that good! Love having this great little place in the Shaw neighborhood!

So happy to have a cozy, low key coffee shop in Shaw! Their coffee is more affordable than nearby competitors as are their food items(but not lower quality!). The breakfast croissant sandwich for about $ 4.00 can’t be beat. This place has authentic charm with an obvious local focus. Nice to see that they aren’t attempting to gouge customers and most especially, the place lacks any pretension. A true asset to the neighborhood.

This corner coffee house will blow your mind once you enter and view their eclectic décor. Everything about this place, the art, the chairs and tables, even the cups your served your coffee all fit together in some non describable way. it’s so comfy, i can’t imagine why people order to go? Stay awhile, drink from a hand made mug and if you like your mug… check the dot underneath and it will tell you the price… many of the items in the store are for sale, although I’ve yet to ask about a certain painting and their teapots. not much to eat, but of what it lacks of in food, it makes up for in customization. I’m more of a tea drinker, and the barista was more than willing to tweak her steeping technique for picky old me. I’d go every morning if i could… school keeps me away but i try to go and relax, it’s a great place to relax, have a cup of coffee and read while the music and décor enhance your imagination. it’s one thing to read a book at home and in bed, it’s quite another to read just a chapter at Restituo. PS: A perfect Latin name for this coffee house.
