We used Schnucks Floral Design for our wedding in October 2015. Mike Carrow was our florist/designer and he was absolutely amazing. Between my mom and me, we can be a pretty difficult crowd to work with, and decision making is always tough when you want your special day to look perfect. First of all Mike asked us our budget and worked with us to get us everything we wanted. I was able to show him Pinterest pictures that I liked, and he was able to give me a price of those specific flowers, then suggest a similar flower that completes the look I loved and fit into our budget. Secondly, we struggled a lot with envisioning the centerpieces. He went above and beyond by grabbing different vases and flowers to show us our options and give us prices looping it all back to fit into our budget. On our last visit with Mike he had a complete centerpiece to show us and we were thrilled with what he had made for us. At the last minute I changed the time that I needed the bouquets delivered and he made it work! This was one of the least stressful things about planning our wedding. I will always recommend him to my friends planning weddings in the future. Thanks Mike!!!

I used Focus on Design(floral design by Schnucks) for my wedding ceremony* in 2005. The designer who did my floral design, Rhonda Lynn-Moeckel, is still there. Judging by the lack of reviews and mentions in the Announcements section of the paper(Ladue News, bien sur), not many brides know about this place. One of our local meteorologists and his wife are family friends and recommended Rhonda to us b/c, at least at that time, Focus on Design did all the arrangements for the TV station. Anyway, we were very satisfied with the flowers for our wedding. Our wedding party was on the larger side– 6 attendants each, in addition to parents, grandparents, readers, and ushers, and of course, the flower arrangements for the Church– and we definitely had a budget, and wanted most of it to go to reception food and drink and photography. Fortunately, we were able to afford superior design. We got married in the fall and wanted bright colors. The arrangements were beautiful and elegant with nice flowers(not cheap filler). We spent just under $ 1,000.00 for: –1 bridal bouquet –6 bridesmaid’s bouquets –15 attendant boutonnieres –5 corsages –2 large arrangements for the front of the church –an employee to come to the church and help the men put on the boutonnieres, and show the ladies how to hold the bouquets to get the most flattering photos I’m sure the prices have gone up in the 7 years since I got married, but I bet you will still save a bundle over the«trendy» places and your flowers will be gorgeous. *we used Focus on Design only for ceremony floral arrangements, and made other arrangements for the reception centerpieces
