I went there for the first time with my family and friends. They almost refused to give the lane to two players, they wanted to force us to put four in a lane. They also insisted that we must rent their shoes(I saw other players with Tennis shoes). They didn’t let us have soda while playing(I saw at least two other players with soda). I don’t know what is their problem, why they have this bad attitude when we tried our best to act nice, patient and polite. We paid and left and decided not even to think about coming to this place again. Bad treatment, rude manager, worst experience I had in St Louis.

Had very large kids birthday party at Show Me Lanes and had a wonderful experience. Service went above and beyond and they even let the Kids have Cosmic bowling in middle of the day… they LOVED it. It was a great deal also

Bowling is up your alley. Great place entertain kids and introduce them bowling. Very friendly staff with a lot of patience. Snack bar has good fries and burgers at very reasonable prices. Wi-fi is free.

Very reasonable prices. 2 $ shoe rental, 2 $ games, and 1 $ games on Tuesdays. Shoes are in good shape, and there are lots of lanes. It’s non-smoking. The major downside for me is the poor selection of beer.

My wife and I stopped in here the other day and had a wonderful time. There was a spring break special and the price was unbeatable. Staff was pleasant and very helpful.

Show Me Lanes is a great place to escape the St. Louis heat and have a good time at a price that won’t break the bank. I have been here a few times before, for various friends birthdays, and they have always been friendly and courteous. This most recent time was with my nieces and we had a deal for an hour of bowling, shoe rental, a pizza and sodas for the group. The main lady was very friendly, suggesting different things and helping us out. The only time she wasn’t too thrilled was when one of my nieces didn’t get her ball down all the way and she had to walk out on the lane to fix it. It is a smoke free environment, which is great when you take the kiddos and they love it, even the little game area for when bowling is through.

I’ve been to Show Me Lanes a few times throughout my life span. Why not more?(you may ask) Well, frankly my dears, I suck at bowling. I am terribly uncoordinated. I figured since I’ve been practicing on my Wii bowling at home, I would fare better this time, but not so much. Gutter ball city, sweetheart. Show Me Lanes is typical as far as my limited expertise tells me. It is smokey, kitschy(but without effort), and usually busy. On Saturday night it cost $ 2 to rent shoes and $ 3 per person per game to play. They have a snack bar(cheap greasy food of course) and a bar/lounge that now features karaōke on Saturday nights. Pretty hilarious for the brief moment I saw. They do not allow you to take pitchers of beer into the bowling alley, FYI, and a draft domestic pint costs $ 3.50, which I thought was pretty high considering the atmosphere. The patrons in the alley vary– some middle-agers, some families, and some young tweens with nothing better to do. Kind of like me when I’m there.
