No soul food, no love in every bite but the burger was seasoned and my fries had to be from the end of the bag. The free drink was ok, was told I would love it but I’m a top shelf girl. I’ll go back to try the food they didn’t have in stock and people watch as that’s what I enjoy about lounges.

Alright, alright, alright! Soul Peppers has some cooks in the kitchen! Everything was seasoned to perfection. No mass production of mediocre food here! We had turkey wings, dressing, Mac and cheese, greens, candied sweets, meatloaf, black eyed peas, cornbread and peach cobbler. Everything tasted like it was cooked from scratch with love! Highly recommended!

Went to Soul Peppers on Mother’s Day with my family. I heard about this place from a radio advertisement and decided to try them out. I ordered a smothered Pork Steak, Mac & Cheese, Greens and corn bread. All the side dishes were excellent but the pork steak was very tough. I asked the waitress to simply exchance the pork steak for chicken. She took my entire meal away and brought it back and said the manager said I could not exchange the meat and would come speak with me. The manager never came out to explain to me why this could not be done. I flagged down the waitress and asked again was the manager coming out and she said yes she’ll be right out. She never came out. I had a waiter go tell her that my food was getting cold and could she please come out, again she never came to our table. I went to the front and the manager never gave me eye contact nor did any of the employees inform her that I was waiting to speak with her. I ended up leaving the restaurant without speaking to the manager. I vented my frustration of my treatment to the waiter who told me that they were just really busy with customers. But I too was a customer who had already paid my money for a meal I could not enjoy. I will not return to this establishment simple because of the customer service alone.
