Friendly staff, good food, and a nice environment to hang out in. What more can you ask for out of this place?

Neat little breakfast spot! Good food, reasonably priced, really good Bloody Mary and friendly, fast service. Definitely a return visit!

We come here several times a year. The bloody Marys are awesome and wonderfully spiced! Their scrambled eggs, french toast and breakfast sandwich with the runny egg are our absolute favorite. I’ve never had anything here that made it to the list of «I don’t think I will order that again». The staff is always friendly and attentive. Great patio dining when weather permits.

Food is good and reasonably priced. Got the Hash and Eggs and my friend got the French Toast. The hash and potatoes were well-seasoned, not overly greasyvand the eggs were perfectly poached. My friend said her toast had just the right amount of powdered sugar as most places either have too much or too little(a bit subjective, I know). Our hostess Lila was very welcoming and her recommendations were spot on. She was very attentive without being overbearing, loved it.

Food is great. Went there with the family for breakfast today. 3 of us had the absolutely divine French toast while my wife got the bagel breakfast sandwich. Bagel was awesome and it’s hard to do eggs, bacon and cheese wrong. The French toast is made with a vanilla-maple batter and it is delicious. Perfectly grilled and browned with maple syrup and whipped cream. Only rough spot is the service. Nice people but slow and pretty invisible after taking our order. Waited forever for a cup of coffee(which was great). Not sure if they’re a bit understaffed or just normally slow service. As long as you go there with that understanding, it’s great.

One of the best breakfast joints in St. Louis. In the spring/fall sit out on their big outdoor patio. Perfect way to spend a Saturday or Sunday morning.

This place is great. My fave bkfast place in StL. The environment is lovely, and the food better. My faves are the chkn club, and the blueberry cornmeal pancakes(which are huuuge). And real maple syrup

The food was so so but I loved the backyard garden. The brie omelette was not all that impressive and a little oily.

Came here for the first time on a Wednesday morning and it was fairly busy. I imagine it’s very busy on the weekend. I parked on the street. Great, strong coffee. I got s cup of the garden blend. Eggs Benedict is what I ate. Done perfectly! It was a chilly morning so I sat inside but I can’t wait to come back on a warmer day to experience the hyped up outdoor seating!!!

My family comes here regularly, we like the Soulard neighborhood and the atmosphere of the place. Its quiet and relaxing yet not empty. The outdoor area has an old brick patio, many potted plants, and water fountains for a nice background noise. Dog friendly !! Menu is large and has lots of coffee options too. I recommend the bagel breakfast sandwich or blueberry-cornbread pancakes. I had the fruit parfait this time but personally didn’t enjoy since I didn’t know the granola had coconut in it. But if you like that, I recommend with the raspberry scone Service was as friendly and attentive as could be.

New to the area and was looking to find a new go-to brunch spot near home; unfortunately, I’m going to have to keep looking. I waited over 15 minutes before even being acknowledged by a server, then waited more than 30 more minutes for the food to come. When it did, the English muffin was barely toasted, the eggs were lukewarm, and the home fries – more lightly sauteed potatoes than home fries – were even less warm than the eggs. I saw another group less patient than I wait an equally long time to receive acknowlegment get up and leave when the server finally brought the menus, and I overheard another party complaining about similar treatment. I’m normally one to forgive slow, or even bad, service as long as the food is good, but that wasn’t the case here.

Wow… I really need to do better at reviewing places in a timely manner. It’s been a while since I was at the Garden but what I do remember is the space was cool. We had brunch in the rear garden area near a nice fountain. The server started out dry but loosened up after the initial order and even snapped a few photos of us. The pancake was decent. Nothing else really stood out. It’s worth trying if you’re in the area.

I came for breakfast last weekend based on a recommendation from a friend. How awesome is this space?! We sat in the back garden which was very serene on a crisp Saturday morning. I love mornings outside so I’m sure I’ll be back often to this spot. Service was excellent. Bathroom situation: there’s one downstairs which is unisex. I had one good experience and then one surprise in the toilet when I went in(not the restaurant’s fault) BUT ladies, just go upstairs. At the top of the stairs is a women’s only bathroom with 2 stalls(2 I think but definitely not 1). It’s much faster and you’ll be out of the way of the busy hallway where the bathroom is situated. I ordered the hash and eggs after being torn between that and vegetable omelette with brie on top. I’ll go back for the omelette next time. Food was solid and everyone enjoyed their meals. Great for a unique breakfast experience.

Cute little place! Very friendly staff, great options for food. Latte was refreshing! Grilled cheese and tomato bisque was loved by my husband. The eggs florentine was just the right amount. Only complaint is that I would have liked fresh spinach.

I was severly disappointed in this SUPER cute spot in Soulard. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese croissant which was very greasy. The sausage was floppy and probably came frozen. The whole sandwich looked thrown together and didn’t hardly have a taste(besides that of grease). My boyfriend had their B&G and cubed potatoes. The gravy *actually* had a taste to it, but the potatoes we’re bland and came out kind of cold. I really wanted this place to be cozy, cute, quaint AND delicious, but I guess you can’t have it all.

I brought a group of 15 people here for lunch, and I was very pleased with how the waitress handled us so smoothly. I had the black bean and cheddar quesadilla — it was very tasty, with a nice sauce on the side.

I just love this place. I’ve stopped in for coffee, which is competitively priced, and I’ve hit up their all day breakfast. Never had a bad experience. It looks small when you walk in, but no fear! There is an upstairs. If you’re beebopping around Soulard it is a must stop. Nutshell: eclectic, homey feel. No pretentious nonsense and good rich coffee.

Just a great place to go for breakfast with so many options that are all very delicious! There are numerous options of eggs Benedict with toppings that are fabulous, as well as huge and yummy omelets, carefully prepared sandwiches, salads, and more! There are two levels as well as a lovely outdoor back patio… Art adorns the walls and changes often! I think this is the breakfast place to go: right in the neighborhood with owners that care about every aspect!!! Great pancakes, eggs benedict California, paninis, bagels, pastries, and coffees! I love this warm, inviting, and yummy restaurant!
