Subway

Workers are never on times. The store states 7 am as the opening time and it is still dark at 7:15 am. I’ve pretty much given up on my morning meal here guess I’ll go to bread company down the street.

Stopped in today for lunch, right at lunch time, about 11:45. Ordered my usual and the service was alright. The sandwich maker behind the counter was friendly as all was well. However, as I finish my order, I ask for a large tea. She charges me for a large fountain drink and disappears.
I go over to get my tea, which happens to be behind the fountain drinks and notice there’s no tea made. At all. There also is no other fountain option than soda and water. So I ended up paying $ 2 for a large cup of water and there was no worker to be found to ask about getting the money back.
I know it’s a minor complaint but come on!

The workers in there were very disorganized especially a younger African American girl working there. As she was making my sandwich she was constantly laughing or smiling at me for no reason and it was a little strange and annoying. Then she asked me to repeat my order like 3 times because she forgot already and then she asked if I wanted it toasted and I said yes and then literally 1 minute later she asked me AGAIN if I wanted it toasted. Then someone else stepped in and made the other half of the sandwich which was strange but whatever. Finally got my sandwich as I went to the car and it wasn’t even hot or warm, NOTHING. After she asked me twice if I wanted it toasted, it didn’t feel toasted in the slightest so obviously it wasn’t in there long enough and the people working there have little to no training or they just don’t care. Needless to say, f*** this subway. It was absolutely terrible and I’m definitely disappointed. I’m putting my sandwich in the oven as I type this. Simplest job and they can’t even do it right. Wtf is wrong with people.

Subway is a fast food submarine style sandwich chain. I have been to many locations that have been sloppy, old and small. This location is super clean, big and new They also have a large private lot with ample parking. It’s conveniently located on the west side of 7^th/​Broadway in Soulard — less than 5 minutes from Downtown and Busch Stadium.
