Pretty standard visit at a Friday’s. Service was fast. Food was delivered even faster. It was very good. The only negative part of the visit was that we waited about five minutes to be greeted. Several employees walked past us without acknowledging us at all. The very best part was the waiter. I’m pretty sure he was Colin Hanks but I guess Colin Hanks has more Hollywood things to do than serve meals at Friday’s. Whatever his name, he was pretty fantastic! We will be back.

Called early in the day to find out what the drink & appetizer specials were(actually called 2x), I was given then specials & shared the information with my friends. We arrived later that evening to celebrate a friends BDay. We told our server we were interested in the specials, she was confused & said those were not the specials. We said we called 2x. She then said you must have spoke with someone at the bar… they have different specials. Ummm, that’s pretty important to remember to tell potential patrons when they call ahead! I ordered a burger and asked for Medium. I was brought a raw burger. mushy & gross. I was one of the last to be served. I asked my server(Who was great) if she could take it back & cook it more. She apologised for it being undrrcooked & taking so long. They made a brand new one that was perfect… but my friends were all done eating:-(I said thank you, and asked for a box. My wonderful server brought the situation to the attention of her manager who brought my box to me, apologized and said she was going to remove my meal from the bill! Super impressed! I have to say my experience last night was totally turned around by TGI’s action of accountability! I’m not a complainer & wouldn’t have asked for it to be removed from my bill… but it turned my starving frown upside down!

We lead long houred days and busy lives. We need reliability. Familiarity. Tgi fridays has that for us. We sit at the bar and Madison or one of the other amazing tenders remembers us, makes sure we have what we need and helps us enjoy our night. The food is fast, but no so fast you wonder if there is a microwave involved. We always have the potstickers. Amazing. Last night I had a turkey burger which didn’t disappoint. We also had some taco potato skins which were good. We’ve never had a bad time there. If you need a good no pressure come as you are evening, go sit at the bar at friday’s on lindberg. Watch the world go by.

Burger meat dry. Fries are ok-ish. Hot sauces are good. But the boneless chicken bites ruined my meal. Gross. Good atmosphere to watch a sports game with a friend.

WOW — haven’t been in years — decided to lunch there prior to movie at Ronnie’s. 3 people — over $ 80 with 2 appetizers — WAY over priced. Soups(2) were served COLD — had to return them, which I am sure hit the microwave. The stuffed hamburger was not good — the patties were like McDonalds! For over $ 10, certainly not a good value the Jalapeño burger had soggy fried jalapeño’s and dried regular ones. For over $ 10, certainly not a good value The Chicken & Shrimp — the sauces we extremely plain. The potatoes were not real — obviously box! For over $ 15, certainly not a good value Service was ok — nothing to scream about. I will not make the mistake of returning to this location.

One of my favorite places. Always they have hot food and good service. They get it right and make sure you are happy or they fix it. A nice selection of food, and it really is decent food. It is loud but this is my spot to go with a girlfriend and we have good conversation and don’t have to scream to hear each other. It’s a nice place to go for a friendly dinner.

Went to lunch today with my boyfriend and a couple members of his family. We were earlier than them because of the detour on Lindbergh so we ordered an appetizer: bacon wrapped jalapeños. They were pretty amazing, I’m not going to lie. When everyone had arrived and placed our orders I made sure I was a pain and ordered the lunch pick two with French onion soup and french dip sandwich(feeling french today, I guess) with half of the ingredients taken off. When it arrived the soup was delicious and I ate all of it. When I tasted the sandwich it tasted terrible. Like the mushroom sauce on it was bad or something, something just wasn’t right. I guess our waiter heard me talking to one of my companions and asked if he could fix it but at that point I was just kind of over it. He was super nice about it though, and was great the whole experience. Everyone else at the table loved their food though and I was able to try the turkey burger which was awesome. Everyone’s allowed an off day, and hopefully it isn’t a trend.

The burger was okay. My drinks weren’t made correctly. Hire bartenders that know what they are doing. My server was food though.

Baby back ribs are delicious. The mac n cheese is awesome and the Parmesan potatoes are yummy. My wife and I like to order a meal and split it because she eats very little. At Fridays, when you split 1 meal, they are happy to divide it for you and bring it out to the table as 2 meals which is really cool. I only gave 4 stars because I feel like something gets lost between the person who takes the order and the person who brings it out. This visit was the salad. We ordered a ceaser salad and some other salad came out to the table. So then you have to flag down the original waiter and get it corrected. Also the mojito was good but very strong. I only had one and no way I could drive home.

I’m such a sucker for chain restaurant’s, I can’t help it, hopefully the Unilocal community can introduce me to new places I wound’nt normally go to. Anyways I think the location on S. Lindbergh is very nice. I came in late on this evening, about an hour before close. I decided to try the mango smoothie for my beverage, it was soo delicious, wish they offered a refill. Anyways decided on the appetizer platter 3 for all. We picked boneless wings, potato skins, and mozz. sticks. Every thing was on point except for the mozzarella sticks. I would pass on those. For my meal of course I picked the same thing I always get Sizzling Chicken n Cheese, never dissapoiinting. Overall it was a good meal. But I will note the server was a off his game. But it didn’t alter my experience.

Went there last night. I ordered the chicken and shrimp sizzler plate. Gross! The chicken was extremely over cooked. My boyfriend ordered a cheeseburger done well. It was burnt. Not just over cooked but blackened. Never once did anyone ask us how our food was. Just offered to get us more bar drinks. When the waitress asked to box up out food we said NO! She still didn’t ask how our food was. We barely touched it. We will not be back. Very disappointing.

I really enjoy this tgi Fridays location. I can say I’ve been to a couple other ones and not enjoyed them as much. This one always had really well informed servers who are very friendly. I love anything off the Jack Daniels menu.

My family used to go to Fridays all the time. My husband racked up a ton of points on their old loyalty rewards plan and then they abruptly changed and he was just out of luck and going nothing for his points. That was not right at all. It was a long time before we even went back. This past weekend we went in. I got a cheeseburger which was greasy and covered in a seasoning mix that coated my fingers and hands which would be ok if it tasted good but this was all garlic. My husband ordered the chicken salad sandwich and it should have come with fries but they did not bring any and he had to ask. The waiter never once asked to refill our drinks or asked if our food was ok. The restrooms were filthy with the handicapped stall closed, 2 of the other 3 were too dirty to use. My table had a rough area that kept catching my shirt and causing pulls, on my new shirt I may add. This is just illustrating the fact that the whole place is getting old and needs a spruce up. The bathrooms have cracked and are missed paint and are just not even close to fresh and new. I hate sitting near the bar because even though smoking is not allowed inside it smells like an ashtray when you are sitting near the smokers. Also that loud bell in the bar when trying to eat, along with radio, tv and people talking, is a lot of noise and borders on obnoxious.

I am completely shocked. Absolutely shocked. On a typical day, there is no chance of dragging Wife or I to one of the Big Box Chains restaurants like Fridays. With only an hour to spare until a film at Ronnie’s 20, Fridays was our only option. We took a chance. There was a long line of waiting patrons outside of the restaurant when we approached. The hostess offered the two of us a table in the bar with no wait. This was the first positive. Our waiter got to us quickly and was immediately helpful. The server made good recommendations, he was friendly, and left us alone when appropriate. There is a wide variety of options on the menu(normally I find this to mean several things done poorly). For $ 15, we had a sampling of three appetizers. 1. Tuna tostadas, 2. Ruben sliders on pretzel buns, and 3. Asian pork tacos. All three were excellent and substantial in size. The entrees were as good. The Cajun shrimp pasta with broccoli along with the sizzling chicken and spinach with tomato and mozzarella salad, we’re priced right and tasted great. The wide variety of foods we enjoyed we’re all done well. With tip, our bill was $ 60. I cannot stress just how surprised I am with last night’s dinner in the county. I eat in the city so much and stress small business almost to the point of a religious certainty, but Fridays did well last night.

Very friendly people work here, and also great service and amazing food! The parmesan crusted chicken is delicious. They have TVs to watch the games, and always have a big crowd here. On a warm day sitting out on the patio is very nice. They have drink specials too! I love coming to this Fridays.

I don’t get out to TGI Friday’s very often. The last time I remember coming to this restaurant was 15 years ago. Yes, it was that long ago. I happened to think it was quite overpriced food with ok customer service. This time, the experience was a bit better but the customer service could be improved just a bit. For example, I wanted to connect via Wi-Fi on my phone and I tried flagging down a server for the Wi-Fi password. Nobody even stopped when I tried calling them. Most of the servers had smug looks on their faces. Why even require a Wi-Fi password? Most establishments have their wi-fi not even password protected and the user just accepts the terms of services to connect. As well, sometimes I sat there with my drinks not even re-filled. My dining partners ordered a cheese stick appetizer that was quite impressive and I ordered a black bean burger. To be honest, none of their food seemed to be appetizing. The cheese sticks happened to be the best I have tried. The sweet potatoe fries that came with my meal were kind of mediocre. According to the recommendations here, this seems like a place to hang out and grab a few drinks before a matinée show. Just avoid the food.

Madison and Renee are possibly the best bartenders in the world. They have made amazing drinks and are amazingly fast. Go get some drinks before a movie.

My brother picked Friday’s for his birthday dinner this year, so Friday’s is what he got. We went on a weeknight, which is apparently a good time to go because we had no wait at all. You can usually expect a packed house and a decent wait time here on the weekends. We chose to sit on the patio and enjoy the nice weather we’ve had recently. The service was great. The patio only had a few seated tables, so our waitress was quick to take our order, refill drinks throughout the meal, and check in with us often. My brother and I selected the same entrée… the Jack Daniels chicken and shrimp. It comes with two sides and is a really good deal for $ 15. I choose a tomato mozzarella salad and mashed potatoes for my sides, and my brother choose the parmesan fries and vegetable medley. We found that the Jack Daniels sauce that comes with this dish for the chicken and shrimp actually goes well with some of the sides too. It’s a little sweet, a little tangy, and has a perfect consistency. I would definitely get this dish again. Of course I had to have some fun with my brother and asked the servers sing their popular, yet embarrassing, birthday song to him. Hey, he scored a free ice cream sundae out of it. ;-)
