my friend and i came by to do their 3 for 30. We each got two appetizers and an entre. we also got their punch. their punch came out first. it tasted slightly boozy but good. we sipped at it as we perused the menu. we each got a gazpacho. the almond based soup was beautiful and delicious but the deconstructed was not quite what i wanted. i was hoping for something more soupy and less deconstructed. we also ordered the squash with black garlic and pepitas as well as the beet tartar. AMAZING. sadly, they were out of squash flowers… but the squash was perfect. the beet tartar was good but not as amazing as i had hoped. i did, however, love opening up the peach ‘yolk’ on top. lastly, our entres. We got the cornish hen with risotto and the trout. both were fantastic. the hen was deboned with a really creamy risotto and the trout had a really nice skin. i really look forward to coming back to this place, even if it does have a different name.

This one was served warm but was still good, and came with gnocchi in it. Loved the gnocchi but there were only 2, bummer! Next was the cauliflower risotto. It was terrible. Bland and just gross. I sent it back, and they didn’t charge me for it, and told the chef so it could be changed. My husband got the foraged mushrooms — and pulled out a hair right away from it. Then informed me it was the second hair he’d found in his food that night. Gross! He didn’t want me to say anything so I didn’t. He still ate it. He got bacon too, which neither he nor another person at our table liked. They thought it was too thick and just didn’t taste great. They brought me a free dessert to make up for the cauliflower. Still love that strawberry ice cream and brown butter cake. Yum! One thing that’s different is that you pay the hostess, who has an iPad with Square for your credit card. She came over and we sett
