I love all of the sales associates in Torrid. They are so helpful and sweet. I just wish the store was bigger!

What It’s Like to Shop At a Store That Isn’t Torrid When You Are Plus-​Sized:
1. «Yes, we have plus-​sized clothes!» Associate points you to the maternity section.
2. «Yes, we have plus-​sized clothes!» Associate points you to a tiny rack with clothes up to a size 10, which they consider plus-​sized.
3. «Yes, we have plus-​sized clothes!» Associate points you to a small section of hideous, floral mumus.
4. «Ummmmmmmmm… no… we just have normal clothes.» Said while looking down their nose at you, or looking you up and down, like, what the fuck are you doing in a Hollister?
5. Ignored so hardcore that you actually start to believe you don’t exist.
What It’s Like to Shop at Torrid:
They treat you like Hugh Hefner at the Playboy Mansion. The worst thing that could happen to you shopping at this Torrid is:
1. They help you too much or
2. You find too many awesome things and spend more than you wanted to.
For a plus-​sized bitch, that is the dream, man.
This Torrid gets better and better every time I shop there.
Do I wish some of their skirts were a little less slutty? Sure.
Do I wish I could find more pants without skulls and crossbones or rhinestones on the asses? Of course.
But honestly, ya ain’t gonna do much better than this place. The women that work here are fierce as Hell and the fact that this place exists makes it a little less Hellish to be me.

We happened upon this store in the mall. My daughter, a slim but very busty girl, found this store to be the best store to give her slim looking clothes that make her feel and look beautiful. The jeans are a MUST try. They have a small 12 for her. Her DD bust easily fit into the shirts so beautifully (and the bras are so comfortable and pretty). My daughter says it is the first time she has ever felt beautiful. In the past, she would have to buy oversize clothes because of her big bust. Now she can feel somewhat normal, and very fashionable. I wanted to cry as her mom. I have seen her struggle with clothing, and I could never find anything but clothing that looked any different than a tent to deal with her busts, making her feel so ugly. This place is a Godsend. I don’t want to neglect their excellent staff. Amy and Stephanie are some of the best, best customer service that I have ever seen. Their people skills are top notch. They are excellent at helping to find what looks great, matching outfits and body types. Honestly, this company is very lucky to have them. I have shopped for many years, and I have never been waited on as well as I have in this store. They will welcome you and wait on you with the up most care. They are excellent in explaining their sales, discounts, and store policies. If you haven’t been to this store, you are missing out. Love it! Love it! Love it!
