After the AMAZING time I had last year with Circus Harmony and their intro trapeze class, I knew I just HAD to do it again. Luckily, Circus Harmony had a special this weekend for buy one get one free! I signed up for the Saturday afternoon time slot. I was lucky that there were only 5 of us in the whole class (which made for the perfect # of turns).
If it is your first time, they have you learn how to hook your knees, hang upside down without your hands, and (by the end of the class) get caught by one of their staff who is hanging from another trapeze. Since I was a return customer, they had me work on a new trick, which involved a release. I had a choice of two releases (heel vs. split) and went with the heel release (which I would highly recommend).
Similar to last time, I had a FANTASTIC time. I just can’t get over how much fun this place is. In fact, this might be the most entertaining thing I’ve tried in St. Louis. They have the group on the trapeze within 15 minutes of the start of class, which is great. I also could not get over how incredibly friendly, helpful, and entertaining the staff are. Even when you mess up, they are ridiculously encouraging and always point out the parts you did well.
In addition to the BOGO, I also bought a 5 pass (which you can use for yourself and friends). I can’t wait to return again later this summer.
Just a few last notes… this probably isn’t the best thing to do if you’re afraid of heights (in case that’s not obvious). Second, the location is a little confusing. It is located right next to the Hard Rock Café. Third, you can either do metered parking (2 hours should be sufficient) or park in the lot next to Hard Rock (which is $ 3 for the first hour and $ 1 for every half hour after that). Finally, they have classes every single day of the week (except Monday) from about April to October.
In sum, this is one of the best things to do in St. Louis! I’d highly recommend you check it out.

Wow!!! So much fun! From the time we started to the very end I felt so comfortable which is really saying something when you are harnessed and flying upside down through the air. The staff here (Matt, Elliana, and Ian (I apologize for spelling)) were amAzing at encouraging you to try something new but also put you at ease and make you comfortable. And what a adrenaline rush!!! I highly recommend this experience… definitely something you won’t forget!

This was an incredibly fun and different experience! We did this as a double date and purchased through groupon. We thought the staff was super knowledgable and fun to work with. They were professional and made us all feel really safe. The four of us were all surprised at how much we were able to learn in a 1.5 hour class. I was doing hand offs with the catcher by the end of the class! As well as doing backflips! I would definitely recommend this everyone who is physically capable and willing to give it a go!
