Great place to wind down, relax, chill, you get the idea! Its recommended for those who love art and reading, as UE has plenty of space to do that. They are good at holding events there, and its a cool place to hold small meetings. Their sandwiches and baked goods are great, as well as their smoothies. They also have a decent craft beer selection as well. Only bad thing is the parking, well sometimes. I could say the same thing for most other nearby places. Check out this place next time you’re in Dutchtown!

This may be one of my new favorite places. Food is excellent. I had a bacon and pepperoni flatbread pizza with a side of roasted sweet ‘taters. Yum! My crew got Southwestern Chicken Wraps(which we were told is one of their most popular items). I understand why. Service was excellent. Atmosphere is great. Want to check out local art? It’s on display as well.

Nice little hipster place. Lots of interesting artwork on the walls upon which to look; tables and chairs are a carefully grouped to look shabby sheik. It’s a clean and well kept space. As a first time customer, I found the menu confusing, and opted for on their fast bites options — a cheese quesidilla which was very good, made with fresh ingredients on the spot. The staff are very pleasant, albeit a little slow moving. If you aren’t in a hurry, and want some good fresh food in a relaxing, interesting atmosphere, try this place out. I’ll visit again if I’m in the area.

I have eaten here on many occasions, and I generally get the breakfast wrap(super tasty). You can get it with turkey sausage and /or bacon. I frequently opt for both. I also greatly enjoy the smoothies here, and my go-to choice is strawberry-banana(add cinnamon). It may take a little while to cook/prep the food, so be aware of this if it’s busy, but it’s usually worth the wait. I live in the neighborhood, so this is a great spot for me to go for a bite for brunch. Be mindful of their hours of operation, as they vary(they are closed Monday). Also know there is a Unilocal deal where you can get an Italian soda free with check-in. The people working are very nice and attentive.

Everytime I have gone, the service has been slow. I guess it pays for the really always excellent veggie Italian wrap. They could lower some of the prices of the side items, $ 2.99 for Asian Slaw that is maybe a cup size. Probably meets serving requirements, but $ seems to me like it’s marked up 250%.

We are from out of town. Stopped by this place with all the good reviews and it looks like fresh, healthy options. However, we were disappointed that on Sunday’s they only offer a specific brunch menu and were unable to order anything from the regular menu.

The wrap with chicken and southwest sauce? Not sure about what the name of the sauce was. I am sure that it is very tasty. Free Italian soda was a nice touch too.

Three of us went for lunch. Two of the three came out wrong. Sandwich was no good considering it was covered in a sauce I didn’t want. Won’t be back.

I chose Urban Eats for a vendor Lunch and Learn and it truly made the event! Everyone was thrilled with the delicious food(and the presentation of the food – complete with fresh flowers and eco-friendly packaging). The delivery crew was very prompt and professional, especially since they had to deal with an old building that made getting to the 3rd floor was set up a little difficult.

After living just around the corner for almost three years, I finally tried Urban Eats. Man, have I been missing out! I got the Southwestern turkey wrap and it totally satisfied my desire for a turkey wrap. I wasn’t expecting the rice inside, but it was tasty, nonetheless. The atmosphere is light and friendly, and I’ll definitely be headed back there. Especially since it’s just a block away!

I recently organized a trivia night for the nonprofit Invest STL at Urban Eats. Having a trivia night at UE was extremely easy since we had access to the staff, full kitchen and the bar. Caya, the co-owner was very easy to work with and she accommodated our needs and made the event run smoothly. We offered apps and a drink with our ticket price and guest were also able to order beer and food from the full menu. It worked out well because we were able to raise funds and she was able to bring in business as well. There are various spaces availabe including a loft event space upstairs for larger events. The quality of food, atmosphere and service were great. I couldn’t ask for more!

Fresh and delicious healthy food! Sunday brunch was a fun experience that allowed you to try several types of food for a lower price since they are smaller plates. We came for our anniversary and enjoyed the food and style. We are also big fans of restaurants that are environmentally conscious like this one!

Great veggie options, delicious coffee — very cool and quiet atmosphere during the day. Highly recommend this spot for folks needing great WIFI and a quiet space.

OMG I loved this place! Reasonable! Tasty! Fresh foods! *thinking of more adjectives* Friendly staff! Plenty of choices! Cool artsy atmosphere! And the location has a lot of thrifty type stores nearby(if that’s your thing)…so you can eat, then walk the street and shop!

OK so I was trekking on my hot rod 2 wheeler(Schwinn) the other day and found myself out of steam in not the best ‘hood as far as stopping on the sidewalk/street whilst alone. I spotted this cozy corner rest area and parked it. Good idea, Al… why — thank you! First — the set up is pretty rad. Plenty of space and types of seating to cater to your butt needs. Local artwork on the walls that you can actually purchase if you so desire. Electrical outlets for your technology needs and in my case… battery vampire phone. I also am going to go out on a limb and assume they have Wifi. I needed protein and got an overdose. They have two of my all-time favorite things on the menu — a peanut butter & banana smoothie w/soy AND bacon wrapped dates. Wha-what? Now before I get ahead of myself — I opted out on the dates that day, but I will surely be back to give them a go in the near future. I actually ordered the cheese quesadilla because I was looking for protein in a snack-based form. It was quite delish, cheesy, and took care of my dietary needs. The sauce was zingy as well — a nice additive if you choose to dip those tips. I also enjoyed a delightful iced latte with espresso(added) and caramel, which certainly recharged my energy cells. The peeps… they were so very informative and helpful. I had a chat with a nice gal about the big biking event going down in Dutchtown in May and a brief history of past events — MoPro… look it up and enjoy. The sweet gal that actually took my order was very helpful considering I had never dined at Urban before and had no clue what to order. She actually hand made my super awesome PB& banana smoothie. I felt the love. She also informed me of their Sunday Brunch — dim sum style, which I was very intrigued by and intend to experience in the near future. Always looking for new and exciting brunch adventures on the weekends. Overall — I really dig this place. I intend on coming back so I can explore there other dining options AND get some of those bacon wrapped dates… and another PB& banana smoothie, of course!

Urban Eats lives in a great great space for lunches, meetings and group get togethers. It is very bright and open with lots of different seating areas. The one thing that would make this a great destination for me and probably lots of others would be free wifi. They might have it but when I was there today I didn’t see anything pop up on my phone to connect to. I got the Italian veggie wrap, and it was really good! The main ingrediant was eggplant which could have easily turned out horribly, but the consistency and taste was just right. I tried to save half of it for dinner but I couldn’t help myself. I also got a side of zesty lemon chicken and rice soup which is even better, but I’m saving that for dinner. The chicken in it is very good quality. I’m interested in coming back to try the smoothies, maybe even get a boozie and maybe come back another time for some coffee drinks. They also have happy hour prices on craft beers and appetizers(which also sound unique and yummy). That said, wifi would make it much easier to come back to! **If you live within biking distance, it’s a super cute location to ride to and get a treat and visit some of the other shops and businesses nearby! Oh, that makes me think of a list I could make :)

Décor: It’s nice and spacious, although some parts are just oddly put together(the sections don’t flow altogether, in my opinion). But once you sit down and enjoy your company, it doesn’t matter so much. Service: Quite good, quite casual. Food: I got the Mediterranean Salmon as a Panini– I didn’t think it was really worth it. It was alright, but not anything I’d come back for. My friend also thought his sandwich was okay. For dessert, we got the bread pudding and I was quite disappointed by it. It didn’t even taste good and the texture was off. And it was expensive for the portion size! Overall: I don’t find this place to be of excellent value, and this place is really far from me, so I wouldn’t really be coming back.

I’m not sure how I had not been to Urban Eats before Friday, but it’s my new favorite secret in STL. A friend and I stopped by because another friend was displaying his photography here. Because UE wasn’t busy, we decided to eat a quick dinner here before I had to book it south to host karaōke. The joint is adorable — part diner, part hippie enclave. Flower pens are *everywhere*. The lovely woman behind the counter explained the ordering process, as we hadn’t visited before. Choose a flavor style, a filler(meat, veggies, etc) and a presentation(wrap, bowl, etc). Then add your extras like smoothies or dessert, and pay at the counter. Have a seat, and the staff will bring your order to you. I chose the Mediterranean(lemon pepper) style mushrooms and other vegetables over brown rice. I also had a strawberry banana smoothie. My friend had a similar order, except he had meat. I fell in love with my dish! The lemon pepper was wonderful and perfect, and it tasted great on the veggies. This wasn’t crap from a premade seasonings packet! And there were a TON of vegetables, especially mushrooms. It was all over rice and topped with a black olive sauce that didn’t scream«HEY! I’M MADEOFBLACKOLIVES!» The bowl was fairly large, and had I been going home instead of to karaōke, I might have taken some home. As it was, I was happy to eat every grain of rice despite being so full. Gluttony? Maybe. But still delicious. The strawberry banana smoothie was pretty good. I’m not a fan of bananas, but my body was screaming for potassium, so I gave in. It was made from real fruit and presented with a cute design made from purée on the side of the cup. We paid about $ 22 for two dinners and two smoothies, more than reasonable for the amount, quality and freshness of the food we got. UE has a Unilocal checkin special, too. I’ll be back for sure!
