Dr. McShane is such a compassionate and gentle dentist. I got my orthodontic treatment when Dr. McShane was getting his Masters degree in orthodontics at SLU (2011 – 2013). It was really a blessing to be under his care because even as a resident, his skills were swift and his heart was big :) There were times when braces would hurt (all of you will have those days! just hang in there!), and he cared about each and every one of my complaints about pain. I also had a hyperpigmented area on the roof of my mouth and he took time to counsel other dentists to explain that to me. A lot of times, I was surprised that he remembered what he did the last appointment, especially since he was seeing 50+ patients. That really speaks for his diligence and meticulousness. I highly recommend him as your orthodontist! He will sincerely apologize for any errors or mistakes (although I doubt he will make one), and he will be a great companion to have for 2 – 3 years of braces. Have a nice day everyone!
