I was quoted $ 450 — $ 500 to move very little furniture, the bill at the end was $ 1,000, of which a $ 50 discount was applied. In my opinion, if you’ve been told there are 3 flights of steps with no elevator, come out in person before you give such an unreasonable quote! We were not happy at all.

My experience was as follows: Referred by a friend that recently used them (thought they would be a sure thing). Called to get a quote (needed a move to Memphis from St. Louis).
A representative did call back the next day. However, once I told them the «to» location service went downhill. No call back, I called them twice (I was hopeful that this was a mishandled situation.
My final contact was with a manager who took information, PROMISE to call back, but never did.
As you know moving is stressful, don’t add to your headaches… keep looking.

Charged me almost double the amount of my estimate. It took 10 hours to move a small apartment because some of their employees didn’t show up to the job. So not only did I have to pay for the extra time it took the understaffed movers, my brother and I had to take the day off work and help move the whole time… which certainly wasn’t supposed to be part of the deal. To top it off, at the end of the day when the movers gave me the final bill, they actually laughed at how high it was right in front of me! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

So I was contacted by a company representative who wanted to address what happened and seemed intent on rectifying the situation. I’m still not sure if I’ll use them again, but will post an update if I do. friends have told me it would be foolish, even if I got a «great deal».

Robert the most junior mover was wonderful super helpful during this stressful time. There were a few mis-​communications on their part about wardrobe service. They forgot some boxes and i had to go back and move a closet they missed. Also i was under the impression they unpacked the wardrobe boxes. A few thing got broke in the move. this happens. a few walls got scraped on this i think this was almost unavoidable. Tim the driver seemed to be balancing multiple loyalties during the move and would alternate between customer service and confrontation. i felt like customer service won the race by a nose. Bottom line the men were polite and hard working. I would use them again but i did not have a 5 star experience.

Professional, on-​time and inexpensive. The company was great, confirming twice before the move, they were on-​time actually early. Truck was in good shape and the guys had no issues handling any of my stuff. There were no hidden fees and they actually charge as advertised to the nears 15mins.
I will continue to recommend You Move Me.

My specialists, Mike & June, were extremely friendly and understanding. When moving, you can request this or that, but ultimately the movers are going to work how, and how fast, they would like. Not the case here. I specifically requested we move as swiftly as possible as I was pressed for time. They respected that and also granted all my requests during the move itself. I would highly recommend this service, and Mike & June specifically. Thanks guys

This company rocks!!! On their way to my apartment they called to confirm their arrival time and offered coffee. They did a walk through and were very positive about getting this move done in the time frame I was requesting. The men were very clean cut and dressed in very nice uniforms and their truck was very clean. The customer service was outstanding, very polite and great personalities. They were fast and efficient and very careful with my furniture. I compared this company to 5 other companies and their prices were the best! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is moving! You even get a plant as a housewarming gift in the end!!!

They are professional, courteous, and efficient! My husband and I were thrilled with the service. The movers arrived on time and ready to work. They moved all of our things with care, and brought their own equipment (padding, etc.). I will use this company every time I move!

These guys are as good as it gets. They’re extremely professional, friendly, and courteous. My move went quickly and efficiently, and nothing was broken or even scratched. I also found that the price I was quoted was almost exactly the price I paid– nice!
Moving is stereotypically a pain, but You Move Me made the entire process basically painless. I’ll never be afraid to move again!
