Great hotel at a great price. Our large room with asking size bed and pull out couch was only $ 93 with AAA discount. Everything was clean and well maintained. Lobby staff is very friendly, especially Laura who was extremely nice to our kids. The breakfast bar was awesome and included 2 hot food choices(egg and cheese omelettes and ham) plus a waffle maker with plain and blueberry batter! Not to mention fresh baked mini cinnamon rolls and chobani yogurt. There is also a 24 hour coffee machine with hot and iced options.

Lovely hotel with a super friendly staff. Stayed here after driving in the snow became too difficult. So happy to have found this place on the way to Buffalo. Clean and wonderful. Breakfast in the AM was hearty.

Hi everyone, just wanted to share my experience you. I recently(01/14/2014) stayed at this hotel and my worst nightmare came true. When I went to bed I was woken up around 1AM by severe itching and burning on my body. I thought I had an allergic reaction to food or something, but to my surprise, I turned on the lights and I started going through the pillows/sheets and there it was… two bugs on my bed. I immediately killed one and the other one went to the back of the mattress. I was very shocked since I never had this happen to me before. I informed the person at the front desk and she put me in a different room but I did not sleep good the rest of the night. From my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This unassuming three-story hotel at the southern end of St. Marys’ business district doesn’t look like much on the outside, but inside there’s much to recommend it. Don’t get me wrong — this is no luxury hotel. But while the accommodations are somewhat pedestrian, you’ll rarely find much to complain about. The staff are almost universally friendly, and they do a fine job of keeping everything in good condition. The entire hotel was renovated in 2011, so nothing looks worn out. Digital temperature controls in the rooms may not seem like a big deal, but it does make it easier to get the right temperature for sleeping. A comfortable ergonomic desk chair is found in each room, a nice addition. LCD televisions, plenty of outlets, and spacious bathrooms add to the appeal of the rooms. A few rooms have whirlpool tubs. As at all Best Westerns, breakfast is free. They’ve got a waffle iron, plus the usual breakfast staples like cereal, bread, yogurt, and pastries. There’s also one hot dish each day, rotating among french toast sticks, biscuits and gravy, and sausage and eggs. They do a good job keeping the breakfast nook stocked, though the area can get crowded as there’s only seating for about 14 people. Whether you’re in town to visit Straub’s Brewery and view the local elk herd, or you’re passing through on business, it’d be hard to go wrong with this hotel.
