Nice place that serves crepes. Nice selection. The sweet ones are good, but the others they have on the menu are not. Overall OK but far from good.

Had a delicious breakfast. I enjoyed the fruit crêpe, which was larger than I expected. My husband had the spinach crêpe. Would definitely return.

Went here today for first time. Food was good and the waitress seemed nice. Seems like customer service was important to them which is great. The crêpe I got wasn’t cooked enough buy she re-cooked it. I got a crêpe to go and went over it a few times with the waitress and so I was so disappointed when I went to eat the take home while sitting in traffic and I didn’t get what I ordered. So disappointed.

This was great. I had the smoked salmon crêpe. It was perfect with just the right mixture of ingredients. My husband had a crêpe with cinnamon and bananas. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend for crepes, coffee, + more. Fresh, delicious, affordable. Delightful, unpretentious little place, that’s blessedly free of the upscale posturing of so many(overrated, overpriced) St. Michaels eateries. Free parking in back, too. Small, pleasant dining room with only one full-sized booth, but also tables, and numerous smaller booths that seat two each. Courteous, diverse wait staff genuinely wants to please you, and provides attentive, but not in-your-face service. Good portions, family friendly(high chair available) and free, off-street parking in the back. A hidden gem in St. Michaels.

Delicious crepes! We split the fruit and monte cristo and it was the perfect portion size. Everything is made fresh, no frozen fruit! Fantastic and I highly recommend this place if you are visiting or passing thru St Michaels– but one early the hours are limited.

If I were judging on the quality of the food alone, I’d give it 4 stars, perhaps 5 depending on the particular crêpe. Unfortunately, the move from the back side of St. Michaels to Talbot Street has not gone well for this once-favorite haunt. For the moment, at least, CBTB is a victim of its own success and some short-sightedness in picking a new location. The old location was roomy and had nice outdoor seating. The kitchen in the new location seems way too small — only one order at a time can be made(the waitress literally brings one crêpe out at a time, as it’s made; resulting in a long gap between the first food received by a group and the last). Plus the seating is far too limited for weekend busy times. Most of the tables are two-tops and if you have four or five people there is only one table that can really accommodate you comfortably. I was also very disappointed in the service on our last visit(not the waitress; she was great, as is the entire waitstaff– very friendly and responsive). We waited for a table and were seated at a 4-top(we were 5, but we agreed to take it rather than wait for the 5-top to open up); we ordered; a large group of 5 came in about 10 minutes after us, sat, and ordered; and that group received its food fully 10 minutes before we did(and yes, if you’re doing the math, that’s how long it was between our order and when we got our food). When the owner of the restaurant went to their table mid-meal and sat with them for several minutes, it was clear that they were friends or family and that the kitchen had prioritized their order over ours. That tends to get under your skin, particularly when you’re trying to deal with hungry kids and you’re sitting three feet away from the beneficiaries of the VIP treatment. But the food is good and so I’m not prepared to dock the review down to two stars. Just go at an off-time or as a couple, or be prepared for a cramped and loooong experience.

My wife and I stopped into Crepes by the Bay this past Monday for lunch based on a recommendation of a local and we were not disappointed. It is a small, unassuming place, but the food was yummy. We had two savory crepes. My wife had the one with crab and I had the one with smoked chicken and barbeque sauce. I am getting hungry just thinking about these crepes. I really wished we had saved room for one of their sweet crepes, but that will have to wait for another time. When you are in St. Michaels and are looking for a good lunch spot(and also breakfast), I would highly recommend Crepes by the Bay. Food was great and the service was awesome.

We both had the crab breakfast crêpe and it was delicious! Very fresh ingredients. Our server Gary was very welcoming and attentive. We will have to come back for a sweet crêpe.

Would definitely come back. We had strawberry Nutella crêpe, as well as banana foster crêpe, both delicious. The portion is good too.

Wonderful desert crepes. I’ll reserve comment on the savory selection for my next visit! I had strawberry banana, my wife had some chocolate Nutella and bananas concoction. Delicious! Prices reasonable, service was very attentive.

Perfect little breakfast joint in Saint Michael’s. I had the fruit crêpe which was light and fluffy and filled with strawberries, blueberries and bananas. My husband had a crêpe filled with bacon, feta, ham, and egg. Also very good but the fruit crêpe won the prize! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a sweet or savory breakfast spot in saint Michael’s.

I’ve had crepes all over the world. This place does it right, perfect texture, wonderful flavor. I had the smoked salmon crêpe, and the Monte Cristo. Amazing. Also get the chocolate smoothie, ask them to make with Nutella and Strawberry. Perfect! Defiantly come here when you are in the area. Great breakfast place.

I was surprised when we walked in because I totally expected counter service but it’s a diner-ish little restaurant. You can seat yourself wherever you’d like but the single booth has a sign that say it’s reserved for parties of 3 or more, which is understandable. There’s also one outside table. I ordered the combo crêpe for breakfast which I think was bacon, ham, and cheese. It was served with a small piece of tomato and couple of spinach leaves and some sort of sauce on the side. It may have been chipotle mayo or something similar. Anyway, the crêpe was yummy and filling without leaving me stuffed. What’s his face ordered a spinach and mushroom crêpe that was pretty good too although I don’t really know why one would order a breakfast item without bacon. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant is small and walkways are narrow so it’s not the best for large groups.

awesome, delicious, yummy food(; small place, but people move in and out quickly. friendly service, not a huge wait time for food and a little something for everyone on the menu! totally enjoyed it(; my Carmel latte and monte Cristo crêpe rocked(;

Tasty crepes no matter what the occasion: breakfast, brunch, lunch, dessert. Hard to top for breakfast in St Michaels. Veggie crêpe solid, skip the mushroom sauce. Lemon a classic. Fresh fruit abounds. Recommend better coffee with roasters right across the street. Definitely stop in!

There wasn’t a soul here when we came for lunch, and there are no reviews here on Unilocal,so we had no idea what to expect. The place looked like a cross between a 50s diner and a greasy spoon. But the crepes were so ridiculously good — some of the best I’ve ever had! We ordered three for our family of four and that was more than enough. We had the fruit crêpe(my favorite), the bacon and egg(my wife’s favorite), and the Mediterranean, which I ate almost all of. The bacon and egg came with a spicy ranch dipping sauce and the Mediterranean came with a raspberry vinaigrette. The sauces were so well paired with each crêpe. The staff here were incredibly nice. This is our new go-to spot in St. Michaels!
