Really good! Low mein A+, fried rice same. the only reason i am giving four stars is because their cream cheese puffs are teeny bulbs of cream cheese the rest fried whatever it is. 4 stars

Just wanted a quick bite to eat with my boyfriend and saw that this place was close to home. I thought I’d give it a chance since there it has some average rating on Unilocal. The restaurant is quite homey and authentic with all the décor so I was expecting good service and food. It’s on the small side, but I’m into less crowds and space. The service was overall great and food came out pretty quick then most restaurant. For appatizers we ordered pork egg rolls(2) and cream cheese wontons(8). Pork egg rolls were pretty good it was stuffed with a lot meat and vegetables.

I read the reviews and hoped for the best. Wrong thing to do. Canned– I repeat –canned vegetables(think LaChoy chow mein canned veges), canned chicken, and La Choy chow mein noodles for chicken chow mein. The fried rice was fried to the point of burnt rice. The plate was taken off the table almost full and no one(staff) said a word. Hot and sour soup had dried out tofu and way too much corn starch. DONOTGOTHERE!

Terrible food and service. In hindsight, we wish we had just walked out. After squeezing past the people in the doorway waiting for to-go food, we were seated and then ignored for a while because the only waitress was also working the cash register, answering the phone and running food. She answered a cordless phone from her apron right in the middle of taking our order(without an apology), walked away before asking which soups/sides we wanted, never refilled our drinks and had to be tracked down to get our bill. The kitchen staff sent every food item out one at a time with several minutes between each one. The fried wontons had a very small amount of cream cheese and were incredibly bland. The entreees were also bland and looked like a file of slop. The rice was lukewarm and the eggrolls were overcooked and tasted like cinnamon(dirty fryer oil?). We’ve never been the type to complain to management or try to get a free meal so we just paid and left, but we will never return.

This used to be my favorite place — the best Chinese food(especially egg foo young) I’d ever had. We used to order once every couple of weeks, for 18 years. However, the last 4 – 5 times we’ve gotten take out it is bland at best. Must’ve been recent changes in the management/ownership as everything tastes different and it is not even average anymore. What a disappointment!

I was there for lunch with a friend. I was surprised at how small the buffet was. most joint would have 8 – 10 items. this place had 3– 4. I was like… where’s the food. I think Anna heard me and brought out some food to our table and not the buffet… which I thought was odd. too many Chinese buffet to settle on mediocre food.

Worst customer service. We were looking at their menu online and decided to use their ordering system through the website. We received a confirmation email and a guaranteed time for delivery(25 minutes or less). 45 minutes later we called asking if they needed directions or something. The lady proceeded to tell us she never checks the online ordering system and that they haven’t started our order. Ridiculous. Don’t advertise a website ordering system if you aren’t going to use it. I will not order from these people ever.

HORRIBLE– Brown sauce was watered down Egg rolls were mushy. Cream cheese puffs had barely any cream cheese!(The amount in each puff was about 2 eye drops!) I could have taken all the cream cheese from the 8 puffs and it might have been one full one. Very cheap(and I don’t mean inexpensive) restaurant NEVERAGAIN

Get the sesame chicken! It’s a darker version than others but I love that. Their Szechuan chicken is also excellent. And fried rice. All very good!

Had dinner, and had hoped for a good meal. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I started with the shrimp eggrolls. I found bits of shrimp in lots of cabbage. It was okay, but not great. Next came the Kung Pao Shrimp. Lots of shrimp buried under lots of peanuts with scallions and bits of other stuff covered in chili sauce. The tired 1980s décor is only lacking lots of mirrors and black laquer.

Discusting! Let me tell you this, it was so discusting I can’t understand how anyone would think this was good chinese food. I went for the buffet to try the place out. The two barely edible dishes were a thick nasty brown gravy with surpise meat! The fried rice was dry and crispy. The other buffet dishes were like a thick clear gravy, like pure corn starch? YUCK, GROSS, WILLNEVERGOBACK!

Ok had dinner here tonight… 7−2−13 Very nice folks. Front door needs a good clean as does the air vents. Small but comfortable restaurant. The food is ok, in that I mean there is nothing really wrong with it but the flavours are not bright and fresh. It all comes across as a bit muddled and on the sweet side, even the savoury dishes. But as said, it is ok and it seems to others as quite good.

Everyone knows Anna Chung’s sesame chicken is my favorite food. This food is not fooling around. All my favorite staples, but let’s be real, I’m here for the chicken. This is the most incredible sesame chicken sauce I have ever had and I have been trying to find something equivalent every time I move. There’s just no faking or even getting close to this sweet, dark sauce and the fresh chicken. Just thinking about it makes me wistful. The place is family-owned and for the most part family-run, it’s a real community spot in Eagan and we’d be devastated if they packed up and left. They deliver for a fee and a minimum order of $ 20 but it’s so easy to eat big piles of this amazing food that meeting the $ 20 mark is not hard! I would need an entire other review just to talk about the cream cheese wontons, which are a perfect portion of sweet cream cheese inside thick and greasy wonton wrappers that have made me dissapointed in the face of all lesser wontons for years. I just wish they could extend their delivery radius so I could order it from the cities. The service for pick-up and delivery is abrupt but friendly, the haste with which this palce is run can take some getting used to, but it’s a wonderful thing when you are really hungry and waiting on your food. The dining room is small but cozy and well-decorated enough to not feel awkward about taking someone there.

Best Chinese place in the south metro. I have been coming here 20 yrs as well and besides making tasy Chinese, it’s jsut a great family. We love the chow fun, peking chicken and chicken potstickers. The hot & sour soup is also one of a kind… more like a chili but oddly delicious. Great place!

I’ve been coming here off and on for 20+ years, What I love is they use top notch ingredients, and it’s prepared well. They have raised prices to maintain quality, but I am ok with that. Love the Chow Fun.

I used to live pretty close to this restaurant so the proximity is what brought me in the first time, but the chicken fried rice is what has brought me back since(even though it could be more convenient not to drive across town). They have one of the best restaurant fried rice I’ve had. Their other menu dishes are pretty good, too, but now when I go I usually stick to a quart of their chicken fried rice. I had their lunch buffet once, and was not too impressed with that. The selection was disappointing. It had a very limited selection and it seemed like the food had been sitting out for awhile, but I would definitely recommend ordering off of their regular menu.

I’ll tell you what — there is good, bad, and great Chinese food. This one is leaning towards ‘great’. Food was hot — and served quickly. The egg rolls and pot stickers were extremely flavorful… and fresh — not frozen crap you get in most places. My dining companion had the chow mien — I’m not normally a fan of it, but the sauce was awesome, and something that I would be interested in ordering myself… and like I said, I’m not a chow mien fan at all. My order of «House Lomein» has plenty of fresh vegetables, pork, chicken, and shrimp… great value for the money. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that the A/C in the place needs some work. It’s like 90+ degrees outside… so my guess is that my next visit will be 5 stars.

Food 5 Service 5 Interior 4 Best Chinese food in that area. Very healthy too. Ask Anna for recommendations if you can’t decide, and you can get what you want. 5 star because I had the first regular meal in MN.
