Perfect«straight up» pizza. Proportions/crust/cheese/sauce/toppings were simply great. So excited to have them in our neighborhood!(super friendly staff too!).

Excellent pizza, fresh ingredients, hostess was more than helpful deciding what to order, a fun ambience. Have the St Paul girl pizza and would get it again. Would definitely come back!

I was hoping to use them for catering but after 2 weeks and no phone call back I received an email just recently from Steve Lott just stating were not booking 2016 until November. I obviously won’t be going there if their food is anything like their customer service.

Three of us went to lunch there today, after noticing it the other night, when at the Cat Video Festival at CHS Field. Two had pizza slices(with a fountain drink-$ 5), and one had a small Farmer’s Market Salad with bottled water. It was all totally delicious! Way, way above average. Two of us had the same pizza slice(white, mushrooms, roasted red pepper), and agreed it was totally delectable. Often, white pizzas have too much garlic on them, but this was perfect. The salad had no lettuce, but a lot of different vegetables, including cauliflower, green beans, and heirloom tomatoes. It came with a fabulous balsamic dressing, with fresh basil. The place is super-cute, with comfortable chairs and wood tables. We’re going back! On the downside(at least for me), a number of the pies were more than lightly browned along the edges(but others like that), and the space is pretty«lively» acoustically, so lots of echo. Still a five star!

Amazing. Haven’t had anything mediocre — even the salad is amazing. Didn’t even use too much dressing on the salads!

A good friend and I stopped in for lunch today and we just loved this place. We spent a lot of time looking over the menu — and since everything looked amazing we spent a lot of time reading it out loud to each other and trying to decide which pie we wanted to share. In the end we asked the wonderful counter person for her suggestion — and she did not hesitate in recommending the Bacon Jam Slam for a meat choice. On a side note, this is the first time I have had pizza with meat on it in years. They are farm to table here, and buy much of their produce from the Farmers Market across the street. Quality and local? I love it! The pizza was at our table quick as lightning — making this a wonderful lunch choice for anyone in the area. You get to spend your time eating at leisure and talking and enjoying the sites and food.(I spotted a hot pink toy poodle being walked with a standard white poodle while sitting at our table and watching out the window!) And the food. Oh my. I am utterly enamored. I don’t know what bacon jam is — but I love it. The pizza was just amazing. The sweet fresh tomato and the cheese just melting all over and stringy and gooey — and that salty bacon. I drool every time I describe this. When we left we asked the owner if we could take some menus to hand out at work and he let us know their hours were much more extensive. The only day they aren’t open at this point is Monday.(Mondays suck — might as well stay closed, am I right?) Tuesdays is dinner only, Wed-Sun they are open for lunch through dinner. And I believe they are open additionally when there are Saints games. He also said they would be expanding their hours when they were more fully staffed. You know how after you have a really good meal you need to tell people about it? Yeah. I went back to work and chatted up all my coworkers about the awesome meal. I was delighted to find out that several people had already eaten here — and every single person said they loved the food and would be back. The menu’s I placed in the common area where gone the next time I walked through the space. And I know I am plotting my next meal their already. The 10,000 Leeks or the St. Vincent are ranking high on my «NEXT» to nom list. I loved my experience here, I would recommend this place to anyone, and I will be back.

I have always been in love with Big River Pizza and Im so glad they have a restaurant now so that I can get thier pizza any time I’m craving it(which is almost always). I’m from Chicago so I’d like to think that I know a thing or two about pizza, and I can say without a doubt that this is my favorite pizza ever! When you decide to stop by, I recommend the Boomer pizza, but you can’t go wrong with anything on thier menu. The vibe there is super welcoming, the staff is so friendly and the open kitchen gives you a great veiw of how your pizza is made so you know that you’re getting nothing but the best. I am looking forward to going back to Big River Pizza again and again.

Steve and Big River are the greatest! We just used them at our wedding and honestly, they STOLE the show. The food is amazing, Steve is incredibly sweet and thoughtful, and their prices are super reasonable. I cannot wait to plan another party(or vow renewal) just to use Big River again!

We had Big River Pizza cater our son’s grad party and it was the best decision ever. The salad and appetizers were made fresh on site with really quality and local ingredients, but the pizza was the star. Our guests raved about the pizza but we also enjoyed the charming service, banter, smiles, funky pizza oven, «special cheese pizzas» for finicky kiddos, etc. The whole experience just charmed us and exceeded our expectations. Worth every penny.

I’ve eaten at Big River Pizza several times and I’ve fallen in love. They have a wood fire oven on wheels that is hauled by a pick up. They use awesome seasonal ingredients and know how to blend flavors. My favorite pizza so far is the bacon jam slam(seen below). Nothing like meat jam and runny egg yolk in the morning. You can find this place at 49th and Chowen at the Fulton Farmers Market every Saturday. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Big River Pizza came and catered our wedding; they were simply phenomenal. So many guests came up to me to tell me how much they loved the pizza. I was particularly touched when they found us in the hectic mix of the evening to ask us what we(my new husband and I) wanted on our pizza, without them seeking us out I’m not sure as we would have eaten! The pizza was so wonderful, fresh, and one of the best decisions we made around the wedding. Thank you, Big River Pizza!

I cannot say enough about the Red Rooster, the breakfast pizza from BRP. Tomato sauce, cheese, bacon, a perfectly cooked egg, some scallions emerge from the oven to wake up your taste buds and remind you that summer is here. Big River Pizza is a staple at the Fulton Farmers Market and for very good reason. Check out BRP’s website and Fulton’s website to see where they are going to pop up next. Great pizza from a very hot oven. Just be warned that egg yolk on a pizza can be runny and messy, as well as delicious, very delicious.

Had their pizza today in the fall into the arts festival in Edina. Big River takes a unique approach they don’t have a store. Instead they set up at Local farmers markets and festivals it’s wood oven baked and take to pizza done to order on the spot with amazing flavors and well worth a try.
