Whoa! What an improvement!
Went to Coale’s with some friends for a recent happy hour. I hadn’t been in the place in 5+ years — what an improvement!
The whole bar area has been remodeled — it’s cozy, comfortable, and very clean. I kept saying, «it’s really nice in here!»
The HH prices were great — 2 for 1s on tap beer and well drinks and a buck off other items as well.
We ordered some good treats as well — chicken fingers, cheese dip and onion rings. The onion rings were excellent and crispy, the cheese dip rocked (except for the heartburn the rest of the night) and the chicken fingers were good, albeit a small portion.
The were going to have a grand opening last weekend, let’s hope they stay for a while.
Good food, nice prices, and very friendly service all make for a nice welcoming atmosphere. And we met the new owner — she was great!
