I was a member at this club for a year. Extremely limited hours, classes and a tiny staff. Lost my locker key and it took them over a month to get a new one. Had an employee(Stephanie) be extremely rude one day, really out of line, and when I complained to the manager, I saw her blatantly looking at my hospital uniform and commented on it. It ranked me low on the institutional food chain and she completely disregarded my complaint, right to my face. I felt that if I had a doctor’s lab coat she would have treated me with more respect… even though I paid a year in advance. The only reason you’d want to join this health club is if you work at United or are in cardiac rehab. Classes are rare and always extra, and it’s not cheap for what you get. I thought since most trainers have Master’s degrees I’d get a good program, but they don’t give you anything that you wouldn’t get from a kid at L.A. Fitness who is into lifting weights. I am a former manager of a health club chain with over 10 years experience. Very sub-par club. One compliment: they are very kind and good to the elderly since that is their primary clientele. If you just need a quick workout, work in the area, are self-sufficient and the limited hours work for you– this club may work for you– but for God’s sake, don’t misplace your locker key!
