It’s no secret that I hate cutting my hair, but I was in desperate need for a trim. The last time I had a hair cut was in January from a ladyboy named Barbie in the Philippines(seriously one of the best haircuts of my life). Finally, I decided it was time. My split ends were scaring the neighborhood kids. My unemployment and nonexistent pay check wouldn’t let me to go to my favorite salon(you know what it is), so I had to settle for the next best thing, Great Clips. Lucky for me it was close to my house AND I had a coupon. Winning. Their website allows you to see how long the wait is for each location. I didn’t use their online check-in system, but I was able to get a haircut as soon as I stepped in. Nicole was the lucky lady who had to cut my hair, and I’m glad she did! I was very particular with my bangs, my length, the layers, the look, everything, and she was very understanding. Before she did anything crazy(like trim my bangs) she asked first it was how I wanted and how short. It was perfect. All I got was a trim, but with all my instructions, Nicole gave me exactly what I wanted. I whole process took no more than 20 minutes, which was awesome because I was kind of in a hurry when I popped in. Will I come back instead of my favorite salon? No. But, I will definitely come back sometime for a trim as needed.
