Moved here Fall 2013, saw Doctor here right away. I see Dr. Sheryvl Tan. I really like her. Have seen her half a dozen times. I admit, I’m a college credential snob and didn’t know about her’s, but her residency’s are at notable places. 1) The office staff are friendly! I’ve never had an issue. 2) The waiting area is nice: open, lots of windows, good chairs and magazines, fresh coffee, and water. 3) Parking is meh, I parked once in the St. Joseph garage and walked from home 2 times, and have been dropped off by my hubby 4) They were proactive and still easy about getting my medical records. 5) She’s done a good job managing my care: changing me to a better nasal spray that seemingly helps with some of my headaches, tapering off my blood pressure medication… and monitoring to see if I can stay off it longterm. 6) Setting me up with a nutritionist to help me understanding options to my food intolerences and how to stay paleo within my age/calorie intake. 7) I’m not sure people would consider her warm and fuzzy, but I could care less as long as previously diagnosed stuff isn’t ignored. Negatives: 1) One time I thought maybe she was being resistant to my feelings about something. So I began bringing my husband with me(it always makes a difference when the spouse is with you) and I felt as ease going forward regardless of correctness in my reservations. 2) At one point I thought follow-up appointments were scheduled too close to one another. Providers are just under so much stress to get the co-pays in. But for patients time, money, and transportation is a big deal. In the end I just stretched out one of the follow-up visits and that compensated for the earlier experience.
