I bit down on a rock, eating a burger and fries at a Ruby Tuesday restaurant in Roseville, Minnesota and they agreed to pay for dental visit and any repair that was needed. the insurance company has never offered me any money and ignores my letters and phone calls also. I went to this dentist because they were a mile from me. He checked out the tooth and it had cracked to the bone. So i went to my normal dentist for second opinion and they said the same thing. I have some crooked teeth and my dentist suggested a bridge. This dentist said an implant for $ 4,100.00 is the way to go. Pulled the tooth and waited for about 5 – 7 weeks (not very long). Then installed the implant. I went back a few times complaining of pain in my upper jaw. He said it will heal. 10 months after, a piece of bone fell out of my tooth. Two years or so, a visit to his office and he said the implant has failed and should come out because my teeth are loose on both sides. He wanted me to pay for the services and i started getting loud about pulling anything on me. I left and months later I’m in Arizona and my teeth on each side are loose. He was clearly after the money because i was told by other dentists that he didn’t wait long enough for the bone to heal. Paid another dentist to remove it but he hasn’t made the bridge and this is now three years later. He does not respond to my calls or letters. I was charged $ 325.00 for a teeth cleaning of one quadrant after the dental implant procedure was done. I went to Arizona to the dental school and they informed me that his hygienist did not clean the one quadrant of my mouth very well and there was still buildup present. The dental school i visited did a complete oral scraping of my mouth and i have before and after pictures of my teeth. They also said this dentist made a bad choice to suggest an implant especially when a person has crooked teeth because the jaw moves around to much from chewing. I am still missing the bridge he promised to replace after he had a surgeon in Arizona take out the bad implant. It took him a over 6 months to make up his mind to pay for this removal here in Arizona. The dentist showed up here for a convention and that was the only time he did something about it.
You cant find a lawyer in Minnesota to hire because the lawyers here all represent the dentists. I had a lawyer who signed papers with me and within a months time, i got a letter from the lawyer that he was dropping my case. I am not stupid but i suspect he may have paid the lawyer off under the table to drop my case. I have solid evidence to back my statement up and a witness. I highly suggest staying away from this dentist. I am building a list of emails. I have made countless calls and letters requesting information and he has not complied because he knows that the court wont touch this case after 5 years go by. The good thing is i have the Internet to tell my story to prevent others from being ripped off. I also tried to find out what companies name was the provided the implant. I spent a little over a half hour one day talking on the phone with him over this issue and that it was his responsibility to take care of this situation. My ex-​father in law was listening because he is a former executive vice president of the largest insurance company in St. Paul and retired. The dentist kept stumbling over his words and back peddling in his conversation. Don’t say i didn’t warn you.
