Friendly team. Variety of great reasonably priced options — and tasty too. Just discovered Skyva. Definitely worth return visits!

A delicious, affordable, fresh, and overlooked option for lunch in the downtown Saint Paul skyway maze! I walked past this establishment many times. A coworker finally suggested going, and I am happy he did. Skyva is located in the Alliance Center food court, by Sushi Sushi, and near Pino’s and Leann Chin. Skyva offers sandwiches, salads, soup, a quesadilla, macaroni and cheese, and other options that I can’t currently remember. I had a healthy sandwich with the spicy chicken. It was fresh and filling. I loved the spicy chicken, as it reminded me of Cajun-spiced chicken. It wasn’t drenched in buffalo sauce! The staff is very friendly and prompt when not too busy. I can’t believe I spent a whole year overlooking this gem. I recommend supporting this small business that offers tasty lunch options with a smile. :-)

I am SOLD on Skyva Deli… Little uknown mom-and-pop shop off of Wabasha in the Alliance Bank Center Skyway… I have Celiac Disease and am very sensitive to cross contamination. My husband and I decided to stop on by and get a salad. Jose(the owner/nice guy) asked if we wanted to try some soup. I declined and he asked why. I told him I have Celiac Disease and am highly sensitive. To my surprise he said he has one soup that is gluten free. Then he informed me he can make me a panini gluten free. Woohoo!!! My first pannini and I was SOLD. I had house made chipotle mayonnaise gluten free and egg salad gluten free. I was in HEAVEN. He even made my husband’s Acapulco Salad gluten free so we could share. If that wasn’t enough he brought us a rather large sample of walnut chicken salad. It was my second time in the skyways and my first time at SKYVADELI… I have told numerous people of my experience. Being gluten free is difficult. He has a separate pannini grill, uses separate utensils, and thoroughly cleans the area before preparing gluten free items. Jose was well versed in what Celiac was. THANK you THANK you and THANK you… I am coming back for more… The bread was fresh and tasty…~Michelle, Apple Valley, MN
