The St Paul Student Center is ok for what it is, a place for students to relax when not in class. There are meeting rooms for classes or staff events as well as some food and entertainment spots. The place is a bit dated but it works for what it needs to do.

Évaluation du lieu : 3 Atlanta, GA
Several weeks ago, I had the opportunity to meet b-boys and b-girls attending the University of Minnesota breaking club and dancers from all around the mid-west at an event called Kings of the Midwest. This regional battle was held at the Student Center’s ballroom. Simply put, there’s an equal number of positives and negatives. Positives: –Florescent blue lighting. –High two-foot ceilings. –A spacious and danceable floor. –A room that can fit several hundred people. –Decent acoustics. Negatives: –The space is a bit dated. –Old and nasty drinking fountains. –Despite an adjustable knob, the settings for lighting are a pain. –No windows, preventing the space from having decent air circulation and natural light. –Venue can feel dirty. I wouldn’t dissuade anyone from renting out the ballroom; however, I wouldn’t recommend it, either.
