This place is really awful in customer service and they are always crabby to help. The manager says something and does something else. The printing center never gets our order right ever. We printed lots of business cards and they messed up the orders and cut the cards wrong. When we complained they said our files were not correct while they used the same file the first time which was ok. I always end up leaving frustrated from this place! They definitely need to work on customer service as well as their roles and responsibilities!!!

Who trains these people to deal with customers? Extremely rude and unprofessional. I also had a run-in with the manager on duty. The same person who I presume is from the previous review. It all started when I went to ask one of the associates if they had a certain item in stock, and she told me that there was nothing she could do to help. She looked annoyed, and she was never being respectful like I wasn’t even a person to her. She called her manager over and then she bailed the scene. What happened next is something I have never experienced in my entire life. He did not bother to introduce himself, and rudely asked what’s the problem. I stated that I needed help finding an item, and asked him if he could please look it up for me. He refused to help me, and then began walking away and started to yell at me to leave to store. Really? Who does that? I don’t know how he became a manager, but clearly there is something wrong with how the store is run if management just up and walks away from their customers without any form of respect. I am very disappointed in this store, and I would definitely not recommend anyone to shop at this Staples location.

Tonight we had a truly unforgettable experience with John the Supervisor of Print and Copy at Staples in Apple Valley, Minnesota. The black and white printer was not working so I used the color printer which also has a black and white option. We’ve done this before. When i went to get the receipt from the kiosk it showed the rate was nearly 50 cents a copy so I knew it charged for color. When I went to the counter and told John, he started yelling at me, «The sign says its…» I stood there waiting for him to say more but it was obvious he had no intention of charging me for black and white. I said«Your other machine was not working, am I going to have to pay color price because of it?» John yelled again, «The sign says …» «I’ll adjust it this time, give me your receipt» I said I haven’t got it yet. Then he looked up at the ceiling like he had just heard the stupidest thing ever and went stomping to do whatever he was doing when he had to come to the register. I got the receipt and took it up there and he let us know by his actions when he was making the adjustments that he really despised us for it. I would like to give Staples in Apple Valley, Minnesota 0 stars but I have to give them one star to post this. We have a training business and we spend a lot of money throughout the United States making copies of manuals. Our favorite store is Staples. We have never experienced such awful customer service before from Staples, Officemax, Office Depot or FedEx in the 17 years we have been in business. We have more classes in Minnesota next week. We will not go to this store for our copies. Maybe John should have customer service training or maybe working on the loading dock.
