Stephanie’s

Stephanie’s is my go to place to find a dress for a special occasion but I also love their fantastic denim and accessories. They’ve recently starting a dress rental section which I have yet to utilize but the dresses look great. If you like Stephanie’s in real life be sure to like them on Facebook. They post photos of new items and also info on special offers and sales.

It is of the utmost importance that Stephanie’s lives far away from Annie D. For jeans alone, this place would get too much of my attention and cash money.
I stopped in to Stephanie’s while traipsing around Highland the other day and was very impressed with the fashions. Being greeted by a very friendly and helpful lady didn’t hurt either. I appreciate that genuine kind of customer service.
Though I didn’t end up buying anything, I think I touched about every single pair of jeans in the store and then stopped in front of one pair of neon red jeans for a good five minutes of focused ogling. The quality design, the soft denim, the perfect washes, the brightly colored pairs… AMAZING.
Aside from the big denim wall, the merchandise spans all things girly, from Luna dresses to House of Harlow jewelry (Nicole Richie’s designs). It’s displayed in a very cute and classy way too.
For a lady on a budget, the price points are sky high (didn’t notice many things under $ 100)… but sometimes you just need the best pair of jeans ever. Sometimes I need them. Sometimes… ugh… I think I have to go back and get them right now.

So my previous experience at Stephanie’s was nice, as I noted in my earlier review. I didn’t leave feeling the «wow» factor that I usually have after experiences at really great shops. But today, I experienced that «wow» factor at Stephanie’s. And not just because they have an awesome sale going on.
So, to keep it short, I wound up having a significantly better experience than I had the last time, from the customer service angle alone. The girl who was helping me was so sweet and attentive. Also, I had one of my «major fashion find» moments akin to a Rachel Zoe «I die» reaction. That moment came when I tried on a super sexy, unusual, trans-​seasonal dress by TIbi, which was on sale for half off, and just couldn’t resist giving it a nice home (closet) to live in. After I’d bought the dress, I started noticing the jewelry in the glass case at the register, which the salesperson told me is made by a local artist who mixes vintage pieces and updates them with new trends. I wound up falling in love with a necklace that’s got a really cool silver vintage locket with engraved flowers on it, that hangs on one of many interweaving chains. Sounds kind of odd, I know, but this was another «major fashion find» moment. That’s the kind of piece that will make a simple outfit really stand out.
So, my second time around here I struck gold: excellent customer service, and two amazing pieces that I’m obsessed with. Congratulations, Stephanie’s boutique — you’ve climbed the ranks from being completely off my radar, to a decent place to check out once in a blue moon, to one of my new favorite places to shop! Keep up the great work.

This is the best boutique in the city. I feel like I’m in a fashion museum when I walk in. But like a museums, the goods are so expensive it’s best not to touch what you cannot afford…
If I’m in the mood to find a gorgeous and unique cocktail dress, I can always find it here and some times it’s on sale. The other clothes are hand picked by someone (Stephanie I’m assuming) with impeccable taste. The texture! The color! The style! Even when I lived in NY I couldn’t find a neighborhood boutique that had such consistently cool stuff.
That being said, it can be very pricey, so watch the sale merchandise. I look forward to having my $ 500/​month clothing budget. Until then, I look forward to the sale coupons and special events in my life to justify a trip and a very special purchase.

Classy, fashionable clothing at this boutique. Love it! The buyer has fabulous taste. Staff is very helpful and not pushy. I highly recommend checking out this boutique for a unique outift you won’t see on your friends!

After a sincere email from the owner of Stephanie’s, I decided to give the Edina location another chance… actually, 2 more chances! There was definitely a change in the sales associates in that they greeted me as I walked in the door in the two times that I visited in the past 2 months. Though the service was much friendlier this time around, my only gripe is that both times the sales associates were on the telephone with what sounded like personal calls. Something along the lines of «I was texting him last night…» and «…yea I think her name was Brianna, she went to school with us…» seemingly personal matters that probably could have waited until after work.
Overall I felt much more comfortable shopping in the store in my recent visits. They had some great sales at the time and though I have yet to purchase anything from this trendy boutique, I will definitely give them an A for efforts at attending to their customers criticisms.

Agree w/​Barbara J that things are pretty expensive here… except for the next 3 days when EVERYTHING IN THE ENTIRE STORE IS 80% OFF! I’m serious. This goes until Sunday, and they’re restocking each night. I went tonight, and yeah, it was kind of chaos, but controlled chaos. Salespeople were helpful in getting people in and out of dressing rooms quickly (though I was a little put off that one of them asked me if I’d mind sharing with someone else-​a total stranger. Um, no thanks). But, kudos for asking.
If they’re not having an insane sale, it’s good for that one cute skirt or shirt or trendy thing that you must have. But, you’ve gotta have some serious dough to shop here regularly for the majority of your closet.

This place is really funky but way expensive.
However, the women working there helped me pick out a really cute jacket for my job interview next week. It set me back $ 92, but was my splurge of the week (or month for that matter).
