Ashley Olds and staff are redefining customer service and satisfaction with their monthly free taste samplings at various guest businesses, such as the Urban Growler. There’s usually a steady long line that actually moves along with regular repeat customers and so many new customers. All natural, no artificial anything ice cream created by Ashley. My favorites, Pear Reisling Sorbet, and Olive Oil(unbelievable!). I’ve always said that if you buy the best, you’ll never be disappointed. Sweet Science Ice Cream proves it so.

I have attended their ice cream tasting events twice. This brand of ice cream and their events are terrific to attend for good quality ice cream and service. The only thing that is misleading is that Sweet Science and Unilocal say that their main businesses is at the address listed above. It is not. I drove around that area in hopes to find some more of their ice cream. I was not able to find anything in that area. Therefore, I have no idea where I can buy their ice cream other than their tasting events. Nonetheless, the employees(I assume their employees) at the tasting events were friendly and resourceful. They were wonderful at making suggestions according to what they feel will work best for me. Some of them also had a good sense of humor. The employees appeared that they genuinely wanted their customers to have a good time and for them to like their ice cream. Therefore, these individuals were pleasant to be around. During their events, I tried a variety of their flavors. There are a couple flavors that include alcohol. Their ice cream brand, in general, has a unique taste to it, one that I have never seen in any other brand names. It is hard to point my finger to exactly how it is unique. Of all of their flavors that I tried, my favorite is their white russian. There are a few other flavors that I love. Cinnamon almond, pecan, vanilla, and rhubarb are the other flavors that stand out. Anytime I can find their ice cream, especially when they have a tasting event, I will continue to purchase it and attend their events. I feel like I can count on them for good quality ice cream.

** I’m not sure that the address listed is their address ** I have tried Sweet Science Ice Cream when they traveled to various breweries. I am a huge fan of this stuff! The first flavor I ever bought was Rhubarb Cinnamon Almond. This icecream has a sweet cinnamon flavor with swirls of rhubarb and slivered almonds throughout. I enjoyed everything in that flavor with exception to the almonds. Too many and they are a weird hard texture for me. The next time we went to a sampling we ordered two take home pints, berry crumble and coffee toffee. Berry crumble tasted very similar to the rhubarb ice cream, it just didn’t have the almonds and the cinnamon wasn’t noticeable if it even contained any. The coffee toffee wasn’t for me, but the two coffee lovers I was with enjoyed it, so we bought that one too. The one flavor I’m dying to try is blueberry sweet corn… I’m thinking it’s a seasonal flavor though because I didn’t see it at the two events I was at.
