I was fretting over what to do with 3 antique chairs where the caning was totally trashed. I never even considered a wicker store. They do beautiful work, and I don’t mind the delay. You tend to put chair repair on the back burner as far as spending money. It’s more for staining, and it wasn’t even necessary. They have a lot of wicker for sale. It was very popular in the 70’s. I remember it being heavier than it looks. They even have doll furniture. What a lost art.

I have to say, if you have any furniture that’s…woven, and that furniture needs to be repaired, The Wicker Shop is the place to go. The front 2/3rds of the store is new and used wicker sofas and chairs and tables and such. There is even a wicker motorcycle in the front window. No kidding. Great service and if you want, he can give you a pretty good story on the virtues of wicker. The only problem is that he is backed up until July with orders, so my mid century garage finds will have to wait to be repaired and reclined upon.
