I do like this place a lot they are pretty consistent with things but every time I go there it’s really up In the air of how well my nails will turn out so I don’t like that. The prices are very inconsistent like I got a French manicure and it cost a different amount each time so it’s a little confusing. Also the people are very friendly but depending on who does your nails toy may or may not like them for example if the gentleman does them if you ask for square he just cuts them straight across and barley files them. If the older lady does them you may or may not get down of the gel under your nails witch is really annoying. The younger girl is very good when it comes to gel manicures I like her a lot she is very consistent but over all I think they are okay not the greatest every time but they get the job done. Also some of them are very hard to understand I understand English is a second language but they talk to other employees in there language then it seems like they are laughing at you. Other than those things i will keep going until I find a better place.

Very nice people, since they were busy I waited a really long time and they rushed a little bit. I got a gel mani and pedi and it cost 70 $ I was told it would cost around 55 as a combo deal. So I was really confused 70 $ seams to be a lot.

I’ve been here twice now and have left as a super happy customer both times! It’s a little bit on the pricy side, but you get what you pay for — they do a great job and really listen to what you want. Ask for Lin or Kevin! *edit I would really ignore the previous reviews from 2012 – 2014, they’ve changed their staff and they pay a lot of attention to detail.

The prices are alright, $ 20 for an acrylic fill. They got my nail shape right which I was soooo happy about, unfortunately within a week one of my nails fell off without me even doing anything! Their acrylics chip and get on your fingers a ton. Don’t think I’ll be going back.

My sister and her girl friends went to this salon last weekend and liked it. I decided to go on a Tuesday night by myself around 4pm. Got service right away. They offered me a drink, but I declined since I was having my nails worked on. I should have asked for one during my pedicure. An older lady did my gel nails. Miami Dolphins themed. She was very sweet and attentive. Not pushy or rude like some places I’ve been to. She took her time and did a very good job. There was a young man who did my pedicure. I’m sorry he had to see my super ashy hairy legs lol. He did a great job. Massaged my legs for a long time. Did this weird thing with his fingers on my calves. Drying station was ok. I ran the fan about 10 sessions and my toes still weren’t dry. I had another appointment to go to, so I couldn’t wait any longer. I ended up with some sock/boot looking textures on my captain toes. Lol I don’t get mani/pedi often. Maybe under 10 times in my life. I haven’t found a place that I’ve gone to more than twice. Once to try it out. Second to give them one last chance. I’m happy to say after my first visit, I would visit again. We shall see how it goes next time. For gel nails and pedicure it was $ 51 total. Cleanliness… I’d say about the same as every place I’ve gone to. Wish it would be more, but just cause I’m picky maybe.

It seems Tips N Toes has a positive following according to their facebook page, Google reviews, and even a few here on Unilocal. They didn’t have enough negative reviews to scare me away from trying this place. I don’t get pedicures too often, mostly because I find nail salons challenging(the techs speaking non-English and seemingly giggling/laughing at the clients right in front of them). There is a common sense of rudness in most every nail salon I’ve ever been to. Based on the reviews, I really thought Tips N Toes would be different, but it wasn’t. My sister and I went in for pedicures(we made an appointment). Pros: We didn’t have to wait long at all for them to start. They offered a complimentary beverage. The place seemed pretty clean. The older gentleman greeting people(owner?) was friendly. Cons: My tech didn’t say more than three words to me. He gave me a French pedicure even though I had picked out a color and never asked for French(French manicures cost more). The techs would walk by and say comments(in their language) while looking at my feet, then giggled. then my tech would giggle…(?)…my feet really aren’t that gross btw. My pedicure looks odd. I should have made him re-do and put on the color I had asked for, but that would have required me to stay in there longer, and I just really wanted to go. An all-around awkward experience.

I love this place. Very eager to please their customers and provide good quality services. Always offer a free refreshment. The place itself is clean and neat. The staff is usually pretty good. This is my go to place! Love it! Ask for Michelle.

This is a great shop. True they are almost always busy, but with at least nine other nails shops to choose from in Woodbury the fact that they are still always busy should speak for itself. I get my mani, pedi and waxing all done here. Simon is my favorite, but I hear good things about the other technicians also.

I have been going to this shop for about 6 months now. The beginning of the week is better for walk-ins(which is what I like to do). The shop is nice and the ladies are friendly. I have not been disappointed yt. Julie G

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Tips and Toes tends to pack em in like cattle! I made a 2:00 appt for myself and a girlfriend for mani/pedis at Tips N Toes. At 2:15 we were seated in the pedi chairs to get our feet soaking, along with several other ladies who looked like they had been there for awhile, at 3:00 my pedi started and at 3:15 my friends pedi started… Overall the pedi itself was heavenly, great massage on my feet and legs. She did a great job repairing the damage to my cuticles(I’m a biter) on my mani and for $ 37.00 I felt like I got more than my money’s worth. My major complaint was the over an hour wait for my actual appointment, and the fact that even though they were clearly over booked they just kept telling people to come on in.
