This is a very old school TJs in a run down strip mall and the parking lot always seems a little dirty and dusty… However, it is still a damn TJ maxx and that makes me happy happy happy. It is smaller, darker, and a little less organized that some others and the clothes are in one part of the store and then you walk into a side of the store tucked away on it’s own and there are the housewares. I still am able to buzz in here and pick up a candle or some kitchen gadgets from time to time. I just enjoy browsing and finding some fun stuff at a discounted price. Yayyy for TJ Maxx – I’m a fan.

The Sunray «Mall» this TJ Maxx is located in is pretty dinky. In fact, I kind of find the vibe industrial and downright kind of weird. I don’t know if it’s because of the 3M-​ness or the East St. Paul-​ness of the surroundings. However, I’ve found the Maxx here to be pretty nice. I typically we go here on a Friday during my lunch hour once month to check out the selection of new items that may have come in since the last time I visited. It has a good selection of DKNY, Michael Kors, and Kate Spade bags if you’re in the mood for an upmarket bag. The activewear selection is good and well stocked with plenty of Kyodan, MPG, Marika, etc. The jewelry case looks interesting (plenty of Lucky, Juicy and Kate Spade) although I haven’t bought anything jewelry from this Maxx location yet.

Despite the fact that this is possibly the most ghetto TJ Maxx I’ve ever been too, the selection was pretty impressive! I’m a bag lady; so when I say «selection,» i’m talking about bags specifically. This place has them. That’s all I care about.

I probably only come here once a month, but more for the convenience and time killing than for selection. As usual, it isn’t going to be as organized after work hours or on the weekend, so I tend to show up in the middle of the day. I’ve found some decent deals here for casual wear, but not much else. maybe some home good type stuff. All in all not a bad little maxx.
