The menu is a bit overwhelming but once you are able to sort things out its pretty easy. If you like having options this will definitely be one of your favorite sand’wich’ places. There were too many choices for me. The wich I had was very good and this is one of the few that have pesto as an option.

This is my second time trying to order online, which by the way is a tedious process in itself. I do this to avoid the usual 15 minute wait time for a sandwich. Both times they have said that they haven’t received the online order. After showing confirmation of the receipt online both times they still have not fixed their online system. Each time instead of a quick pick up I am now prompted wait 15 minutes for the food that should have been done 30 minutes ago when I ordered it.

Favorite«fast food» sandwich shop. Can be a little confusing for a first timer as there are dozens of choices to make. The olive spread and the pepper spread are AMAZING! Haven’t had this on a sandwich before Which Wich but it’s something different. It makes the sandwich taste more like one you’d get at a nice restaurant. I can see why it’d be confusing to order online. I definitely suggest going inside the restaurant if it’s your first time.

This place is just meh. The definition of an average sandwich shop. They have quite a few options for meats, veggies, sauces, etc. which is a plus, but outside of that, it’s pretty run-of-the mill. I can’t speak to the in-house experience as I ordered my sandwich online and got it delivered to where I work. But in terms of taste, I was just underwhelmed. The quality of ingredients was average, the assembly was average, the bread is average at best, everything was just average. Ultimately, it’s not awful, but it’s certainly not something I would go out of my way to eat either. I would put it only slightly above Subway(which is not saying much at all) and well below Jimmy John’s. I could make a better sandwich at my house, so it’s solely out of convenience that I would ever come here again.

These are the kind of places that make me never want to order anything online and always place my order over the phone instead. I got there after placing my online order 15 prior. Due to their Subway like customization, i wanted to get all this done on the computer so i didn’t have to write it on one of there brown paper bag menu and try to remember what my girlfriend wants. I get there they tell me that the printer didn’t print out my customizations, only the type of sandwiches. Since my girlfriend ordered online to begin with, i didn’t know what she wanted on her sandwich. So there i am, looking like a tool because i am talking on the phone to get her options. Now I have to wait about 15 more minutes for them to complete the order. The store was not busy, maybe one other group of people eating and two behind me in line. The two girls working there(cashier and cook) didn’t apologize didn’t offer the tip we left back and said«they’re right in front of you» when i asked for a bag. Sure, i didn’t look happy, but i never did or said anything rude. I’m not sure what was going on there tonight. This is my 3rd time there and if it wasn’t for the food being good, it would be my last. Food is pretty good tho. so if you can get past all that drama, i would recommend it. This PROBABLY isn’t their normal. I sure hope not anyways.

Second visit. The first was pretty good– tho my sandwich was missing 2 ingredients. One would think that when it is all laid out with check marks on a bag, they could get it down. Second visit– was in a time crunch– and could not find the bag for the all meat loaded sandwich– can’ recall the name. Asked for help from one of the staff– restaurant virtually deserted– and she went into the spiel of their concept. Young friendly and clueless. Finally was able to order what I wanted. 18 minutes wait. Lacked bacon, wrong cheeses, and really skimpy for the tune of 15.00 with tax. «Would you like a punch card»? Umm, no.

I was really disappointed with the service today. I come here often and love the sandwiches. Today it took 30 minutes for me to get a fast food style sandwich to be made.

This is a the grown-up Subway I’ve always wanted nearby! Delicious fresh foods ordered without having to communicate cross-generationally…you write your order on one of several categories of bags(beef, Italian, classics, etc) and turn it in to one of the smiling staff; super easy!

Which Wich is my absolute favorite sandwich shop in Highland Park, St Paul. In addition to the plenty of options that you can chose from, its the ease of ordering your sandwich that makes it really amazing. The business is kept really clean and the biggest plus is the staff because they are truly really caring each time I go there and always take very good care of their customers. You may have to park a little further away on most days but its definitely worth the trip. Also don’t forget their loyalty punch card and that Wednesday is a double punch day. Double Dont forget, Unilocal check in gets you a FREE Cookie of your choice :)

Yummm! For someone who likes options, this is the sandwich place to go. Also, tons of vegetarian options to choose from, which is rare for sub shops. Bread is super good, make sure to get it toasted.

Ok, so my sandwich was good, bc I know sandwiches. Also bc I had a coupon for a free sandwich. But it would be nice if they had some standard sandwiches bc otherwise it seems like I have to work too damn hard. Which cheese goes best? Which dressing? How many toppings are there? Is this yogurt lab? I want to eat, not ponder a million options. I think this place has gone too far down the rabbit hole of every one of us is such a very special snowflake and must have preferences that are unique and defining. I just like sandwiches. Service was slow, probably in large part bc every sandwich has so many options. The slowness would indicate that on a night with no line, I should get what I ordered. Nope. Oddly, they heated my sandwich and it was still delicious, but wrong. In the end, I have to admit that the quality of sandwiches is higher than many places in this genre of restaurants. But it’s not really my thing.

This is a really interesting place, but it’s still fast food. When you walk in the door, you are faced with a selection of paper bags which you will place your order upon. There is a vegetarian section which I like a lot. There aren’t a lot of fast food joints that will offer up vegetarian options let alone a whole section. They also offer a very wide selection of vegetables to put on your sandwiches from spinach to horseradish to olives to… you know what? Here is a list from their website: Avocado, Lettuce, Spinach, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Pickles, Banana Peppers, Black Olives, Jalapeños, Bell Peppers, Coleslaw, Sauerkraut, Mushrooms, House Chips, Dried Cranberries, Candied Walnuts, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Pickles, Banana Peppers, Black Olives, Jalapeños, Bell Peppers, Coleslaw, Sauerkraut. Three different onions and a whole mess of dressings. I like the place. The kids behind the counter could use a little training on exactly how much sauce is too much. I’ve learned that I shouldn’t ask for too many items on my sandwich. It seems that each item is placed on the sandwich as if it’s the only item. This can lead to a very unbalanced mix of sauces and items, so be careful or be specific.

I’ve been going to this location since it opened its doors in the neighbourhood. The very first time I went in, I was confused as to what to do(considering subway is more of a say what you want while they make it and JJ is more of a click and wait for your speedy sandwich) the associates were kind enough to give me a quick rundown of how to order your sandwich and everyone was very helpful. I ordered a tuna sandwich which was a decent tuna sandwich(the bread was surprisingly good) and a large chocolate shake(which I still get everytime I go to Which Wich) but the quality and the amount of shake they give you has decreased from the first time I’ve been going. I came in today during lunch time(around noon) and it was very busy! I was thinking my sandwich would take forever but it was a decent wait(probably around 10 — 15 minutes; although there wasn’t a line in front of me; based on the sandwich line they have going on), the cashier is always friendly. My usual shake was not full; which was really disappointing since I always come for the shakes(even when it’s freezing out during the winter time; I’d walk to get my shake. yum!) I would say it’s been better when they first started but there’s definitely room for improvement. It’s better than Subway or Jimmy John’s(on the same road).

Great selection of sandwiches and friendly service, what more can you ask for? Definitely a great alternative to Subway. I like that you can order online and then pick up. The only drawback is that it seemed like parking is a challenge sometimes, but it is what it is.

What a great little sandwich place! I’m a diehard JJ fan, so it took me longer than it should to try this place. They give you a sharpie and a brown bag to mark your order on. They have basic templates for each sandwich but you have complete customization control. I love the amount of choices, because I’m just not that creative and need some starter ideas for my sandwiches. (Maybe it’s just me) I found the ordering process a bit chaotic and confusing, but staff was really friendly and helpful, and I was able to get through it. It does seem to take a long time to get your sandwich. Not sure why the wait, but it was a solid 10 minutes from time I paid until I got my sandwich. I’ve ordered the Elvis both times. Peanut Butter, bacon, banana and honey! Mmm. Smashy deliciousness. They have some veggie sandwiches that look yummy too, with hummus. Not freaky fast, but freaking delicious!

Likes: The staff were super friendly, and were great at explaining the ordering process for this newbie. I liked the ordering system too, straightforward, and actually easier than the subway version of building your sub. Lots of options for toppings and subs. Nice clean store. Food was fresh. Dislikes: I made a crappy sub. I don’t know what goes well with what and I wish there was a sort of «standard» for each kind of sub, one that was built by folks who know what with what in what combination tastes good that challenged people like myself could default to or default to and alter. My veggie sub tasted bland and flavorless. I’ll totally go back, I blame this first taste fail on myself, as the experience was a good one.

I should probably wait until I have some food in me to write this, but — Their website says they close at 9. I hurry my butt out of class and speed bike over, arriving at the doors at 8:53. Where I work, when we say we close at 7, we lock the doors at 7. But here, they were already locked at 8:53. They lost 6 customers tonight by closing early. Yeah, I get it, it’s summer, nobody wants to be working on a gorgeous night like tonight. But come on, I was so excited to try this place!!! I didn’t want to go to Jimmy John’s, but here I go…

Chicken Pesto. Went back again with a coupon from the Vibe Club — buy chips and a pop and get a regular size sandwich for free. I paid $ 2.96 for Baked Lays, a 32oz DC and a Chicken Pesto on wheat with mozzarella, honey mustard, lettuce, tomato and pickles. Good once again. Actually, I think I’m obsessed with trying more sandwiches — the Cuban, the Hula, the veggie…

Why didn’t I think of this? So genius! My new sandwich stop! I had the surf n’turf, and my hubby had a muffuletta… They were both delicious! Great sauces and toppings! Almost too many options, but more is always good… we were just a little overwhelmed at first glance. I would recommend checking out the menu online fist, so you aren’t a deer in the headlights like I was. ;) I believe I spent a tad more than I would have at a Subway, but so worth the extra change for all the amazing choices! Totally recommend! Also, very attentive service, ready to help!

Ok. Many choices & options which I love. I also like the concept of the ordering process. But before I go any further I have a question for you. What do you consider BBQ pork? Is it little shreds of pork that has been slow cooked(there or anywhere) with nice hints of smoke and a bbq sauce moistness or is it sliced ham with BBQ sauce on top? Well if you consider it to be the latter, you are in luck because this is the place for you and you may as well consider this a five star review and not read any further. In fact, shut the computer down now and get yourself some deli meat with sauce on top pronto! But if you chose the first option, please read on. I love my bbq fresh but why they wouldn’t at least even take the time to order some premade shredded pork in a small white plastic bucket that can be heated up later I don’t know. What I received was a joke. What I was served is NOTBBQ pork. Seriously. Don’t insult people that really like BBQ. It makes the place look stupid and because of that, I’m doubtful about the quality of the rest of your product. That aside, I wish I would’ve had mine toasted. A little toasting of the bread probably would’ve add some flavor to the bread. Instead, it was pretty ho-hum. Would I go back? Probably not. Jimmy John’s, Subway or Schlotzky’s makes em better.
