I walked in looking for lo-carb items. The only reason for the 2 is the prices are very high. They have a lot of cute items and were very nice. I can find most of the items for way less at trader joes. They do have nice items though but are charging a few dollars higher on items I can pick up at dierbergs or schnucks for less. Other wise staff was very helpful.

I have been going to Nutrition Stop for many years. Hands down the staff is knowledgeable, available to help and answer all questions, but does not hover. The review from Angela H. is outright silly! I’ve been going there on and off for 15 years and have NEVER experienced or witnessed any rudeness from the owners or their staff. I am giving this store a 5 star ratting only because there are not ten stars available. There is so much to learn about healthy living and these people have the answer’s. Jane Sparacio

I love that this store isn’t just another chain store but offers a more personalized shopping experience. In the 3 years that I have been shopping there, the employees have been both knowledgable & helpful. The staff doesn’t try to upsell extra products but helps identify the best for your particular needs, often resulting in savings. As with any retail business, there are busier times when I’ve had to wait my turn. No problem. I appreciate when the same grace is offered to me when I need extra attention.

I have been trying to live a more healthy life and I have been regularly going to Nutrition Stop for supplements. The staff is always very knowledgeable and willing to give advice. The store also offers resources on which supplements are recommended for different conditions.

There are many places in and around St. Louis to shop for all natural/organic/gluten free health foods — I wouldn’t go here. I have been in this store several times and every time I go in the owner is rude and unhelpful. He walks around wearing a nametag that says«Head Honcho». He’s arrogant and short and unwilling to offer advice or assist you. He’ll walk you to the area where the products are that you need, but from there — you’re on your own. He was very rude to a person that called the store asking questions while I was there as well. It’s a small store and does not carry any items that I haven’t seen at other stores in and around our area. I was trying to find gluten free/rice free flours for my son to eat and they have the same items at local grocery stores for slightly cheaper. Go somewhere else.
