I love Alysha she is amazing and wonderful person! My mother and I have been going to Shearlock for close to 7 – 8 years now and we will never go anywhere else! Alysha isn’t just my hair dresser she’s my best friend I love her and I trust her to do anything to my hair. She will always be our family hairdresser.

I really wanted to like this place because my nail tech was soooo nice. And they got me in there pretty last minute. But sadly I had a very bad gel manicure that took an hour and a half, and is chipping off a week later. Sorry guys, but please get the gel technique down. It shouldn’t take so long and it should last longer than the length of a regular manicure at $ 30 a pop. :(I have to get them redone immediately. Ugh.
But* they did a great job on my step son’s hair.

Great full service salon with reasonable prices! When you walk in you automatically feel relaxed and comfortable, very friendly staff. They also have a variety of hair products you can purchase too. Very easy location to find as well.

Shear Lock Combs has been my salon for a few years. The entire salon and staff are welcoming, clean and well organized. Alysha and Erin are always flexible with my schedule. They have a great product selection as well!

I have been going to Sher-​Lock Combs since I was 16 and LOVE it. I won’t tell you my age now… but we’ll just say that it’s been over 10 years :) I live in Chicago now and even come back to St. Charles to get my hair done by Terry and see all the lovely ladies at Shear-​Lock Combs. I change my hair up pretty often and they always give me exactly what I want. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and always recommend it to anyone and everyone! Great place and great people that do great hair. What more could you ask for?!

Alysha is the only hairdresser I’ve had that always understands what I want, despite my terrible descriptions and indecisiveness. I’ve never been disappointed with her! And although I’ve never had any of the other stylists, friends of mine did for my wedding and everyone left happy!
