Let’s first talk about the food, because really, when it comes down to parking in a crowded Wal-Mart just to get a fresh Sub from Subway or driving 2 minutes in the other direction, sometimes you can give up a little service etiquette for a short walk and a quick stop. The other day I stopped in here for 3 sandwiches for my wife, mother in law, and myself, and nothing differed from the quality of food from any other Subway I have been to. I struggle sometimes to admit that I do like the food here, because I am traditionally a burger and fries guy, so deli meat and chips seem a bit sub-par for my tastes. But honestly, I enjoy a good Subway once in a while, and I have no complaints about the food quality from this location. My issues with this particular location lies with the audacity of one male employee who felt the need to complain about his job and co-workers while he made my order. At first, with just me in the building, I let it go, one complaint, one quick smirky comment about a co-worker to an uninterested co-worker, and it was done. Then the flood gates opened, as nearly 10 people came in at once. At the same time, a new employee entered the picture,(I know he was new because the female employee introduced herself and asked if he had been trained on ringing customers out yet.) With a line to the door, and a new employee at the counter, this guy just turned it up a notch or ten. «He needs to start showing some team effort;» and«one day I’m just going to walk off this damned line and never come back, see how he likes that,» and on and on. As a manager of people, I so much wanted to fire him myself. But as a customer, I was uncomfortable and felt awkward. Was I supposed to agree with this guy? Should I have asked him to quit bitching and make my sandwich?(that line is usually reserved for Mrs. S!(haha Bazinga!, just kidding folks!) In the end, I hope this guy gets his way and exits without coming back. I like the convenience of this location too much to write it off entirely, but one can only listen to this kind of whining so many times before it becomes a real problem.

Ha Ha! Words cannot even explain how terrible the staff and service are at this place! One ‘bratty’ teenager was complaining to a co-worker the whole time she was making customer sandwiches b/c hers was back in the breakroom getting COLD! Oh! Oh! and the co-worker had a black eye. I only realized after she took her glove covered hand and scratched her forhead to move her bangs! ! To top the cake! My sandwich got dropped and had to be made again. I was there 30 minutes! For Takeout!!!
