Asian Wok

Ordered the chicken chow mein and the pineapple fried rice. The rice literally had no flavor and the chow mein came with rice. I have never in my life seen chicken chow mein with rice. Last I checked «mein» is noodles. I am so upset to have spent over $ 10 on food I will not be eating.

My family has been ordering take-​out from here for years. We are always pleased with our food. Always ready on time and always delicious… never a miss. This is one of the few places we will eat take-​out Chinese from. You can watch them cook behind the counter.

Not bad for take-​out chinese food. Compared to the others, I think it is the best around this area. Consistent, fast, and decent priced. Plus I can go into Publix while the food is being made.

So first impressions are always important and this one was ok, I had the Chinese chicken rice it was bland and Bourbon Chicken was just ok, so if your looking for fast food and cheap this is the place to go, as always I will give this place a 2^nd try to see if it was just a bad day. I gave it 3 based on price.

Asian Wok is a yummy place to grab some food to take home. The soup is flavorful and seasoned well. I usually have egg drop soup and this is piping hot and soothing. It is just what you need when you are hungry, have a cold, or it is cold outside. Sweet and sour chicken is consistent and solid. Nothing fabulous but good and satisfying. Sauce is not too thin and coats chicken well. Orange chicken has good flavor. General tso chicken is not too spicy.
All combos are filling and a great value for the price. Crab rangoons are satisfying but nothing special.
On the way home, this is a consistent and good place to grab dinner or lunch.

Tasty, fast, and fresh Chinese. The curry chicken and veggies is deliciously spicy. Very friendly staff and quick service. It’s our go-​to for Chinese takeout. Every dish we’ve tried is tasty.

Chinese take-​out is an art in itself. This place does it right. The food is flavorful, fragrant, and plentiful. Their bourbon chicken is some of the best I’ve ever had, with the perfect amount of char and plentiful fresh veggies. The general tso’s chicken is tangy and packed with flavor. Get a side of crab rangoons and you won’t be disappointed.

Blandish Chinese food! I had the Lo Mein and Chicken with Garlic sauce but I wasn’t too impressed… I’ve had better Chinese food elsewhere! If you’re hungry, go for it but if not I’d pass.

Located in a busy Publix plaza, one would think they get a lot of business. That’s just the case. This Asian Wok is extremely busy during lunch time. If you try calling more than once with no answer. try again. The food is worth the wait. Their lunch special comes with a side of pork fried rice, your item and a soda for $ 5.25. Price is average for lunch special. So far I’ve tried their beef and broccoli, Kung pao chicken, shrimp lo mein, wonton soup, hot soup soup, and shrimp fried rice. They’re all equally delicious. Definitely one of the few delicious Chinese fast food around.

First time there the other night. I got general tso chick chef combo and veggie lo mien. I have to say healthier cook and lo mien had lots of veggies! I like how they have extra sauces ready too!

The best Chinese food in the city, excellent sesame chicken, large portions for great prices. Quick service, rarely busy, I almost never wait for my food when I order takeout. All around a great restaurant.

Horrible food. Got General Tso chicken and it was hard. Half of the pieces were not edible. Terrible customer service. I asked for a soda instead of an egg roll and was told that was not what I asked for when I called my order in so I could not switch them out. Don’t recommend this place and never going back.

Pretty solid for Americanized Chinese take out. Not super authentic like TC Choy but a great place for a quick fix or an excuse to not cook. Hunan beef is very good, better than most other take outs and the garlic eggplant is tasty too.

This is a really good better than average Chinese take out. Strip mall store with small seating area. I use for take out.

I came into Asian Wok kind-​of spontaneously. We were hungry and wanted cheap grub, so this was the option. I was worried they wouldn’t have anything vegetarian/​vegan friendly, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The atmosphere here is kind of typical. There are a few tables, but it’s not ideal for eating inside. It gets crowded and it’s small. You can see into the kitchen, and I like that. I think I noticed a cook dumping out a plastic-​clamshell container of food back into a pan though, and I’m not sure what was going on there but I didn’t like it.
The staff is friendly enough. They aren’t super nice, but they aren’t disgruntled either. I can’t complain too much on this front. They did their job, and that’s all that was really required of them.
The food was okay. I’ve had a lot of terrible tofu from Chinese/​Asian restaurants in my lifetime, and this tofu was pretty good. The sauce was mediocre though. It could have been a lot spicier for general tso’s tofu. It didn’t even burn a little bit. The broccoli that was mixed in was good though. Broccoli in these dishes are often overcooked and disgusting. I gobbled up the broccoli because it was perfectly cooked. Surprise!
The portion sizes are huge for the price you pay. My meal was $ 8 and some change, and that was enough to feed me three times. You can’t beat that. I mean, I can’t even make that dish at home for cheaper than that cost. Though, I could probably make it a little tastier and healthier.
I know I’ll probably end up back here at some point. I’ll also probably get the same dish, but extra crispy this time. I appreciate having tofu as an option, so this restaurant gets a solid three stars from me. If you’re vegetarian/​vegan in the area, I highly recommend checking them out.

Great tasting Chinese take out! They don’t delive to your house but I find they are worth the drive in to pick up. They also offer brown rice and make fried rice with it. I love it!

Friendly, fast, great food. They don’t use the hot mustard packets — they dish really hot stuff into little cups, and aren’t stingy! One of my new favorite places for a quick, affordable, tasty meal. Open late too.
