Comfort Inn & Suites Northeast – Gateway

Great hotel. Room was clean and spacious. The hot breakfast bar was a plus which was good and convenient. The scrambled eggs did not have any flavor and were not fluffy and so I didn’t eat them the rest of trip. There was plenty else to eat. The pool area was great. I never saw one person in the pool and I was there a week. It was like my private pool! Staff was exceptional from the cleaning staff to the manager. I actually was so impressed that I already made another reservation at a choice hotel.

Whenever I have family visiting from out of town, I always recommend they stay at this Comfort Inn location. For those that are sticklers for good customer service, you will not be disappointed.
When my parents stay here, they always bring me back warm cookies, fruit, and other complimentary goodies that are given to them.
Also, since this is a newer hotel location the rooms are not yet old and busted.
Definitely not a place to stay if you do not have a car. Yes, there are many conveniences located just across the street, but no one crosses this area of Gandy on foot (that is a death wish).

This hotel was fantastic! Vicky at the front desk was so friendly, the room was very clean, and the guest laundry was so convenient. There were strawberry and regular waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and all the other typical continental breakfast items. I would definitely return for another stay.

This hotel is OK but the front desk is unbearable. Fox News is ALWAYS on in the lobby… And when you check in expect to wait 30 minutes to an hour while the front desk lady asks every person their personal story. I finally walked out and went down the street to la Quinta and let me tell you it’s fast, the breakfast is better, the rooms are nicer, and the rates are lower… Oh and you won’t be bombarded by right wing political nonsense. I’m staying the street from now on.

I booked this resort through Expedia for my daughters 20^th Birthday weekend ⁷⁄₅ — 7÷7÷14 & it was wonderful! It was so nice, quiet, clean & smelled great! I have stayed in many hotels & this one has been one of the best! The continental breakfast was great! Loved the blueberry waffle mix it was great with the sausage! The breakfast area was nice & clean as well. This location is about 20 minutes away from the beaches & the Florida Aquarium. We will be back soon I promise!!! Thank you for a wonderful experience & making my daughters Birthday memorable!

Returned for a last minute trip. Because I was a Choice Privileges member and a return customer, I was «upgraded to a suite.» If you’re told this, don’t get your hopes up too high, because it’s the same as a regular king room but there’s a half-​wall between the bed and where the sofa and desk are located.
But this time I was also given a comp bottle of water and offered my choice of a bag of chips at check-​in. So don’t forget to put your rewards number in when you book the reservation, because you’ll feel the love when you check in.
The hotel is located next to a business park. It’s quiet, the beds are comfortable, the WiFi works, and every room I’ve been in has had at least 4 or 5 outlets open on different walls plus outlets to plug stuff in built into the lamps. So it’s really convenient to work in the room and keep your stuff charged. This road warrior approves.

Excellent staff and newer bedding. The Wi-​Fi is outstanding compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in. I have been at this hotel for 6 months and this place is the best all around. The location is very good, just a few minutes away from 275. I can get downtown St. Pete in 10 minutes. And its nice and quiet after 11. A very good plus! If you are looking for a Comfort Inn around St. Pete, this is the best of the 3.
