Let me start with Steven was amazing! Attentive. Funny. And made the perfect breakfast recommendations. There was a nice Buzzy crowd enjoying their Sunday brunch. Perfect mix of music and conversation. We had the classic eggs Benedict and the poutine. Amazing. What flavorful tastes! We will be back, you should too.

Oh, I love this place! It is very creative with local art and music, and the food is out of this galaxy delicious. Very warm service, very nice people here. They have a great tap list and I enjoyed a Cycle Cream and Sugar draft. The food, OMG the food! We had the fried chickpeas to start, a genius starter, with flash fried chickpeas and dusted with smoked paprika and parsley. I could eat those alone with a fresh beer and be totally and utterly happy with this world. I had the vegetarian shepherd’s pie with melted cheese on top, with pickled onions And arugula that was astoundingly good. My hubs had the lamb burger and loved it, said it had a wonderful flavor. The brunch looked amazing and I will be back to quaff some mimosas and get a proper brunch on! Seriously can’t recommend this place enough.

Rude staff — not a place I’m trying to hang out — let alone spend money on food I can make better at home, won’t try a 2nd time.

This was pretty disappointing. The bartender was friendly, the place looked cute— but the food was so pathetic. It was like someone in the kitchen was hungover & just threw a bunch of leftovers together. Thankfully we bought a CL deal and didn’t have to pay full price for that experience. We’re actually on our way to another place to grab something to eat. Maybe grab a drink here but steer clear of the food.

We stopped by this weekend as we are from out if town and had not been in quite some time. We were so disappointed we left without ordering. What made this place unique and fun from every other place in St Pete was that they had these outside beds you lounged in while sipping your libation and enjoying a sumptuous morsel. However, the new owner has opted to get rid of them and replace them with a wooden bench type arrangement. The reasoning and we were told while we were leaving was that the old beds were dirty. Although that is in fact a great reason to throw them away, it would have seemed more prudent to simply replace them with a clean version. The beds were very South Beach and so unique and enjoyable. Oh well, an era gone by. Sad really. The new venue was not appealing enough to warrant our staying to try the food. There are tons of great restaurants in St Pete so a choice sexy atmosphere is paramount to sustainability. I do, however, wish the new owners luck.

Can not go wrong eating here. On my 3 week trip to area, ate brunch twice and dinner 3 times and everything was wonderful

Stopped in here this past weekend for Dinner after having tried to stop in here a few weeks ago, only to be disappointed to find the only availability was a rather lackluster brunch menu. What we got was perfectly decent British pub fare with a quirky, beautiful outside dining area. Honestly, I would prefer to give this place a 3.5 stars, but since I can’t do that, I bumped it up to 4 for the atmosphere. Honestly, the outside dining area, and general design and décor of the restaurant definitely pushed this place up from a 3 to a 4 star experience. The inside a little small, but still bright and quirky(even the bathrooms decorations are interesting, with the walls plastered by newspaper front covers from across the pond). The outside dining area is the real gem though, so definitely visit on a pleasant night. The furniture is brightly painted, and the colors are vibrant and beautiful together. The combo of orange and blue and pink combine to make an awesome, comfortable dining area. While we were there, they had a local artist playing some music which was luckily enjoyable. The service was pretty good, not amazing. I’m still not entirely sure if we had a set server, or if the servers were just roaming and helping out whoever needed it. The daily specials were repeated to us a bit too quickly, before we had even gotten a chance to glance at the menu. And it was hard to tell exactly who I should have been calling over when we were ready to order, or needed our water refilled. The food was similar to the service: good but not great. We started with the daily special garlic hummus, which came with toast(not sure why they didn’t go with the standard pita bread, or a flat bread; the toast wasn’t bad, but it just felt a bit wrong). The hummus was good, but the garlic flavor was that of an incredibly large amount of RAW garlic. Definitely not the soft, warm taste of roasted garlic I was(perhaps mistakenly) hoping for. For the entrees, what we got was very good. I got the steak and ale pie which was tasty, and I especially liked the ale gravy, but it seemed very short on the steak. I’m pretty sure I only had a few small scraps, and maybe one decently sized chunk(which I mistakenly gave to my boyfriend to try, figuring there would be plenty). For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding, which was fairly tasty but nothing like what I was expecting. For one thing, it wasn’t sticky. There was no luscious toffee sauce, and the dates in the classic date-cake were very chunky and chewy. The rest of the cake was fairly good but also fairly bland. The price was about $ 10 more than I think would be fair. The night ended up running us about $ 50 before tip, which isn’t unreasonable, but with how relatively underwhelmed we were I was hoping for a bit less. So, 4 stars thanks to the restaurant itself, definitely a place to visit once or twice. But unless you get a much more fulfilling experience than me, it probably won’t become a regular pit stop for you either.

Meh. I live super close and wish I liked it more. Atmosphere is pretty laid back, kinda hit or miss sometimes people working seem a little stuffy but genuinely pretty nice. The food is ok. The new menu that just started seemed promising yet I’m not sure the flavor is there. Fish and chip night is flaunted so I’ve tried a couple times and it hasn’t paid off for me. I want more than bread and often I feel like I’m mostly filling up on stuff I don’t feel is nourishing and when the flavor is lacking too, I don’t come back.

Fancy a nice Sunday Brunch on the patio with some friends? I recommend this little gem. It’s dog friendly which was a plus for us. Nice relaxed, cozy atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed their choice of food. I had the smoked salmon which was plentiful!

I’ve heard about this spot for a while now. I understand they have new Ownership. We stopped by on a Saturday night. Whatever the new Owner is doing, she should continue it. We loved everything about Queens Head. Food — amazing. Fish and chips(real chips — not frozen). Fish — double battered and awesome. Didn’t even need tarter sauce — although I used a wee bit. Fiancé and Father had the scallops and a salad — rocking! Also the cheddar cauliflower thing-a-ma-bobs…so good. Drink — Riesling, awesome. Tons of solid beers to choose. We had a root beer spin off that had 5.0+% alcohol in it. Very yummy. Service — top shelf. Never had to wait for anything. Very attentive staff ALL smiling. Atmosphere — live music! Jennifer Real rocking the mic. Very good. A great spot to come and chill out and eat good English(and other) food. We will be back for sure! #queenshead #jenniferreal #stpetehotspots

This is our place to eat outside and relax on a sunny, warm, quiet afternoon. The menu is typically limited but everything we’ve had like spiced fried chick peas, fish and chips, salads, etc have been quite good. It’s the atmosphere we like. Relax, enjoy life, and enjoy the paradise called St Pete, Florida.

I had never even looked at menu here until today and if I had it wouldn’t have taken me so long to eat here. The menu reminds me of a British restaurant I went to in Amsterdam(random, I know). They have a little bit of everything, from steak to sea food and even tofu! I was more than blown away by the cauliflower croquettes, and can see myself ordering them every time I come here. The chocolate mousse was amazing! The mousse and the whipped cream tastes homemade. Is there anything better? I can’t wait to come back and try more.

What a find! I went for a girls night out in hopes of Tori Trivia and unfortunately Tori was out of town. Not to worry though, the experience was still amazing. A cute, outdoor ambience with friendly staff. The best party — the food. A simple menu with plenty to choose from and all were absolutely amazing. I’m one never to finish my meal but wiped my plate clean, even after nibbling on three appetizers. The cauliflower bites were a little underwelming but the salmon dinner was to-die for delicious with fresh kale and garlic mashed potatoes. Already looking forward to going back.

I truly loved this place. The menu items were very fabulous with many different points of interest. I was a little lack lustered by the curry dish I had as a entrée. When you order curry you do expect a punch and that wasn’t there. It was in fact very delicate and not so flavorful. It was defiantly an elevated meal and I truly did love this place. But I feel I should of prolly went with something else for my entrée. Loved the cauliflower croquettes. Truly loved them. And am so grateful for them introducing me to champagne sangria. Heather(the bartender) provided excellent service and the place really had there act together. The décor was fabulous and quirky!

Came here looking for a cool relaxing spot for Sunday brunch in the berg and left with great results! I loved the vibe to this place. With retro 80s-90s music blasting from the speakers of the live Dj spinning, this place had a cool modern feel that a lot of new hipster like spots have leaned to perfect in the berg. Here the theme is a British pub with familiar favorites on tap such as boddingtons & Strongbow(sweet!) And familiar British pub favorites such as fish & chips. Even our waiter was pleasant and had a strong British accent! We sat outside and the décor had a lot of beds to lounge on with vibrant colors on display. Def a great place to spend and lounge on a lazy Sunday after noon after a long night out on the town. With mimosas and bloody Marys to quench your thirst during Sunday brunch, this place rocks! Not overly packed here when we arrived(2pm) so we were able to get a seat as soon as we talked in. I ordered the croque madam which had a great taste to it. I just wish they used a little more meat on it as the one slice I had barely covered over half my bread. The cheese was excellent along with the bread and the sauce spread across the plate. I had a sample of the BLT on the chibatta bread which was also excellent. Also got to sample The steak and eggs which was very tender and flavorful. Def coming back here for more Sunday brunches!

I heard awesome things about Queenshead and stopped in for lunch one day. It was during that awkward off-hour, and no one was there. The bartender/server spent most of her time rolling silverware and didn’t pay us much attention. She handed us some menus, and, sadly, they have incredibly limited lunch options. I ended up ordering the trixie salad and added on some chicken. I figured it would hit the spot, and it didn’t. With the up charge I thought the chicken would make it a meal. Nah, not really. The rest of the ingredients were fine, but really, there was nothing memorable about it. I ended up going home and eating a little something else afterwards. The interior of this place looks like a British drag queen vomited and hasn’t dusted in 5 years. I dig the campy Euro look, but all of the decorations around the bar had a nice, thick coating of dust. It kind of grossed me out and after the fact I wondered how clean they keep the kitchen with that kind of dirt.
