I’m from NY and was amazingly surprised that I just got one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. Brian was awesome, friendly, courteous and very skilled. This is my new place whe in the area. AAA+++

Had an amazing shave and cut by Kris and Bryan! They were precise and well aware of current styles and needs for face and hair. Well worth the trip!

I’ve been taking my dad here for haircuts. Service is awesome. The guys always do a great job and will also trim up his mustache and eyebrows.

This place has been here for a few decades but changed ownership within the past one. As long as your detailed with what you want, they give a nice a haircut. There are four barbers that work here(Kris, Norm, Paul, and Brian). Kris has given me a nice fohawk(short on sides and back, the top is short on the sides as well and gradually gets longer toward the middle) There are usually only about 3 barbers in at a time. They all can hold a nice conversation if you want to talk to them. The haircuts are $ 12, which is about the standard price around these areas for a decent barber. I have been to a few other barber shops in the area and this one probably has the more modern feel to it. . Overall, a decent place for a haircut. I will be back again!

Dropped in as a complete stranger. Great old fashioned appeal with the big stuffed leather barbers chairs and the metal grid footrests. «Brian«did a great job. No nonsense, nice neat haircut(barber style) and out. No waiting, plan to go back every couple of weeks. Glad I found this place Thanks guys

This barber shop has been here since 1952. Top notch service here! Stopped in with my 17 year old son and Kris gave him an awesome fade. My picky teen is very impressed, insisting that he will drive 20 min to come back here in the future. Brian is the manager and he, along with Kris, are fantastic conversationalist.

Ben’s review is spot on: they do not listen. Three trips, three different barbers: cut too short every time and got a cow lick twice — only barber shop that has ever done that. I have come to the conclusion that no matter what you say in St Pete they usually just give you a military cut. I can do that myself and at least I get to choose the clipper guard number so I am not completely skinned. #DIY

I give two stars, one because they cut my hair for a good price and two because it was cut properly one time out of four. As an actor, I try to keep a consistent haircut, a bit fuller on sides, back and top. The first time in(I was new to the area), I went from long(almost shoulder length — for a show) to my standard version short. Mike made it look great and I thought I had a new barber! Went in three weeks later for a trim, but Mike wasn’t in, so I ended up with the manager(TJ?). Told him it was 3 weeks, that I wanted a light trim, he took it down much shorter than I wanted on sides and back. Had to wait six weeks for it to grow out and headed back to Mike, but he took it short this time, even though I again(as always) asked for a light trim. So waited six more weeks and tried one more time with Mike, but he wasn’t in again(never his day off, just out for lunch or whatever at 2:30ish), so ended up with a different guy. Again, asked for a light trim with a block back(don’t like short tapers on back), got the military short cut. So, three strikes, these guys are out. If you want a BASIC cut(military, short, all-the-way-down, great for kids), then these guys can handle you… but don’t expect them to listen to what you want if you prefer something specific. They it cut off, no matter what you ask for. Oh, and this shop was sold a few years back from the original owners Paul and Mark(Paul passed away unexpectedly)… those posts about their work was what drew me to the shop originally.

I take the kids here for their AFA haircuts. I think somebody has bought the place because there was a whole new group of guys there the last time. The new staff didn’t seem to change the atmosphere which is great. While it can be a little slow because there is usually only 2 or 3 barbers there, everyone is friendly and there is good conversation. This is a good old fashion barber shop nothing is fancy and there is only one TV on the wall but they do a good job at a good price.

A solid $ 12 haircut, good conversation, and a wall covered with dozens and dozens of decorated golf balls. This is a barber shop in the classical sense. Paul and Mark, the Father and Son joint owners, banter back and forth throughout and before you know it you look like a million bucks. Highly recommended if your hair is too long. Also, they do beard trimming, but I was clean shaven so I can’t speak as to its efficacy.
