I cannot begin to say enough good things. Claude was with me every step of the way. Let me preface this by saying that renting a U-​Haul is by no means complicated and this definitely wasn’t my first rental (more like my tenth), but the personal service Claude added made it worth not only actually writing a review, but also recommending him to any of my friends within 30 miles of his location. He is well worth going the extra few miles for.
Let’s start with the pre-​pick up stuff. Claude called me a few (probably more like 5) days before my scheduled pick up to ensure he had my order correct and to schedule pick-​up time. He also told me that if I could pick it up the day before, he’d give me an extra day. Sadly, it didn’t work with my schedule, but I appreciated the gesture.
Fast forward to pick-​up day. A storm knocked out his phone line so my attempts to contact him and let him know we were running a half hour behind failed. He called me and ensured we were still coming and made sure we knew his location.
My past experiences with U-​Haul contracted personnel has left much to be desired. But Claude went above and beyond and worked with me on all aspects (even throwing in a few «extras» without the charge). THIS is the place to get your truck from.
