If you have been to the buffet before you will notice that the menu almost never changes. For the most part, there is a wide selection, but way too often the food is dry(under the heat lamp too long). They should change it up every month or so with new foods. I think us locals are getting very tired of the same menu.

This buffet leaves a lot to be desired. All of the food is bland, mediocre, over cooked, and not very hot. The food choices are ok but not exciting. As buffets go this is at the bottom of the list. Best thing on the buffet is the shrimp, but they are small. This buffet is overpriced for the quality presented. You will get a better meal at thd Seneca Café.

Although there is a wide variety of food, much of it was over cooked. There was crab but I was told they don’t have crab crackers. This made it difficult to eat. I saw one lady at another table had brought a pair of scissors with her to use on the crab. The shrimp was ok and was not peel and eat like often found at a buffet. The fried rice tasted as if it had been sitting out for days. The rice was very stiff and had a smokey taste. The fish was very dry. I didn’t try the turkey because it looked so dry.

This is probably the worst buffet I’ve ever had and I know not to expect much at buffets. Im so disappointed, I saw that this place had a 4 star on Unilocal so I wanted to give them a shot. Plus the other Italian restaurant in the casino was closed and the fancy steak place seemed a little pricey. I basically ended up on spending $ 20 on box mashed potatoes and store bought cheesecake, which was the only edible thing to me. Most of the food was very very bland or had been sitting around for a long time.

My family and I were staying the Seneca Allegheny Casino & Hotel so we decided to eat at the restaurants inside of the hotel. Sadly, the restaurant we wanted to go to(Patria) was closed on the days that we were here so we decided to go try out Thunder Mountain Buffet since we were all really hungry. The reason why I’m giving a one star? Because all of the food was pre-made and just warmed up(according to one of the waitresses). Everything didn’t taste fresh and a lot of the food were either bland or cold. I was excited to eat the meat because it looked delicious and fresh but at the end, it was just super bland. We tried almost all of the food to see which one we liked the best but we liked nothing. It definitely wasn’t worth the $ 18.95 we paid for.

I came for dinner around 6:00 and it wasn’t really crowded. There was only one cashier which made the line slow but it wasn’t that bad. The waitress was nice and was sort of fast bringing the drinks and taking the plates. The food was pretty good for a smaller buffet. There could be better selection of food but most of it tasted good. They have a salad bar, Asian food, seafood, and American food. The atmosphere was great and I had a nice meal. Also don’t forget about the deserts.

This is the second best buffet I have ever seen. The food is very fresh. Even the Chinese food tastes great. They had a roasted pork loin that was perfectly rubbed down with herbs. The turkey breast still had moisture in it! The had really good ribs, nice BBQ sauce not usual brush on stuff. They had roasted veggies with snow crab legs. But lets get serious desert… they had a cake that was like french silk with a brownie on top. Yeah, there is cheesecake, cakes, cookies, pies and even several sugar free items(i left those for others). The staff is very friendly and quick to refill drinks. Better service than rest of casino.
