Good prices and large variety. Be sure to use the coupons. Be prepared to wait for fabric cutting !! Perhaps a wage increase for the fabric cutters would result in faster service?

Standing in line with only 2 registers open. So much for planning for the busy season.

Sometimes when I need crafty items, I miss the old Craftmania in Salem or the Ben Franklin. Although AC Moore is a chain and doesn’t hold a candle to them, the prices are OK. The faux flower selection is often horrid though. I mean they’ve got choices that would never exist in nature. The fake plants(mostly the spider and the pothos) are OK but not as full as you would like for a fake plant. They do have good prices on candles, wax melts and tealights. Their scented candles have some good choices thought some are headache inducing. I used to like their frame section more when they had a wider selection of make your own. Now they’re down to just black metal make your own frames which aren’t usually what I’m looking for. Never ever ever pay full price for a frame at this store! I had priced out a custom frame there during several different sales but it never came down to a realistic price for me. I was asking for a just an empty frame only and it was still over $ 150 for a plain oak frame under 2″ wide. You can also get coupons in the Sunday flyers or by signing up online. They’re good deals but only off regular price items. That works for the stuff that never goes on sale(but of course they have exceptions). Overall a pretty good craft shop though there were better.

Oh yes, like a previous reviewer I also have experienced this«L»(an older man who is a manager). Rude, not helpful at all, isn’t knowledgeable about how things in the store are done. But I digress… I went in there to purchase some things. The girl(who was very nice) forgot to scan my Rewards card and coupon. «No biggie» I said. «let’s just do a return» she said. The dreaded«L» buts in, reaches over and claims he just cancelled the transaction. I used my debit card again, but now the computers(which are very outdated) wasn’t recognizing it. So I had to ditch some items and pay with whatever cash I had on hand. Whatever. Days later, I look up my bank statement to find that they charged me. I go to the store, ask for a manager so I can get my refund. Waited awhile, finally«L» came out. He acknowledged that he remembered me from the other day. Another worker, a woman, overhears my situation and says«L, you can’t cancel a debit transaction like that.» Great. A manager doesn’t know how things are done, and according to the other reviewer he’s been working there about two years. The woman claims the office worker wrote a note about my transaction and she went to go look for it. A long time later, she comes back out saying she doesn’t know where it is. L says to come back another day. I come back weeks later. Luckily L wasn’t working and a friendly female manager came out. She looked at my statement, looked up my transaction in her office while I waited, and I finally got my money back. Overall, «L» and the computers are the worst part about this place. The store is also slightly disorganized. But the workers I’ve met there, besides L, were very kind and helpful. Two stars because they make the store bearable and AC Moore does have some items I can’t get at the other craft stores nearby. P. S. «L», don’t call me «Honey».

Goodness, I cannot tell you how much dough I have spent here… on yarn. Thats right people… I buy yarn. I also bought crochet hooks. Eeek! I actually like this location a lot, plus of course there is no sales tax. I like AC Moore in general as they seem to have better prices and a lot of crafty junk, i mean they are a craft store. Just stop reading and go buy some yahhhns there.

I’ve been here a million times because it’s super close to my house. Call me weird, but I can’t stop buying those«velvet» color them yourself posters & «stained glass» coloring books. I also buy alot of Sharpies * colored pencils here. Too bad I can’t really draw lol This place has everything you could possibly need for any craft project. Just be careful not to spend your entire paycheck here.

I shop this store and the one in Woburn about once, per month. I am not that crafty myself, I just have to plan and shop for the programing at work. Today, this store was cleaning up after the Christmas rush. It was disorganized and many things out of stock. It is not like this usually, so I will give them a break. The staff are always very helpful here. Some of my regular purchases: Tempra Paint Paintbrushes Cotton Doilies Candle making kit Ribbon Construction Paper Glue Fake Flowers Colored Sand Unfinished Wooden Snowflakes Craft Foam Craft Felt Glitter! I’m crafty, and I like my style!
