I had the meatball sub. The meat balls were of the low quality generic type you would find In the freezer section of a bargain store. The sauce tasted terrible. Pricing has very high for the quality received.

Real bad pizza. I work at canobie lake park as a grounds worker and at one point me and my hungry coworkers were working road side. Someone from worked here came across the street and offered us pizza for free. We were excited! Until we tried it. It was so bad that 6 men refused to eat a bite more. Very bad

The steak bomb was pretty good, the pizza some of the worst I’ve ever had. Not much more to say. All the signage about«local pizzerias» being better than chains seemed a little odd. After eating their pizza, it made me want to slap their children.

I called in and ordered. Thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. There was a sign that said, Try our pizza versus a chain restaurant or something of the sort. This place is horrible, my salad is just lettuce in my half empty container. No Homemade dressing. The store seemed dark. I will never go here again. Food is made with Love not w.e. they have going for it. I even tipped. So much for good Karma and hoping to have an awesome salad. Go to TJ RoastBeef on route 11

Armando’s Pizza & Subs opened up about 6 weeks ago, which is located directly across the street from Canobie Lake Park, a prime convenient location. This place has been very busy due to the closeness of the amusement park and the higher food and drink prices in the park. This little pizza shop serves up Italian style pizza(by the slice or pie), calzones, subs, pasta dinners, fried dough, chips, candy bars, and Armando’s Italian Ice Slushes(several flavors offered). Pepsi products served here. The prices here are fair and competitive with the food places inside Canobie Lake Park across the street(slightly lower here) and other pizza places in town. They offer specials including 2 large cheese pizzas for $ 14.99 and they honor valid competitor’s coupons. See the menu at Armando’s is geared towards takeout with no seating inside, just the indoor waiting area with order counter and open kitchen. There is outside picnic table seating adjacent to the building. After spending a hot and muggy afternoon at Canobie Lake, I was hungry and decided to stop for dinner at Armando’s before heading home. The place was fairly busy around 5PM. I also had a competitor’s coupon from a pizza place in Derry for $ 3 off $ 15 purchase. I ordered a Small Meatball Pizza($ 7), a Ziti Dinner with Chicken($ 7.99) and a Small Almond Slush($ 2). The competitor’s coupon was honored and the total came out to $ 15.25 with tax. The food took about 20 minutes to be ready and I enjoyed much of my dinner outside. The Small Pizza was very tasty which was heavy on the sweet sauce, ample melted cheese and small ground soft meatballs on top of a thin and chewy crust(very thin towards the center and flimsy). The ziti pasta was cooked very al dente topped with a hearty meat sauce and three fried thin crispy chicken tenders(generic). The big fresh baked pizza dough bread(halfmoon shaped) was hot and chewy. The Armando’s Italian Ice(Almond) Slush is one of my favorite summertime treats, which was cold and very refreshing especially on a hot day. This Italian Ice is served in a Dixie cup(3 sizes for $ 2-$ 3-$ 4) with the Italian ice round scooped out of the top of the cup. I’ve also enjoyed Armando’s Italian Ices at Kim’s Pizza & Subs in Methuen, MA. Overall, this is a good place to stop for lunch, dinner, or a snack with it’s convenient location across from Canobie Lake Park(short walking distance). FACEBOOK:
