Armstrong Field Real Estate

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Armstrong Field, particularly regarding Jim Armstrong.
We were initially introduced to Jim in 2008 when we purchased our first home in Salem. His knowledge base is second to none and he is both unassuming and extremely thorough and competent — a rare combination. Needless to say, we successfully closed on the home and couldn’t have been happier. My mother-​in-​law and brother-​in-​law also subsequently used Jim for their own homes, all seamless transactions.
But most recently, Jim outdid himself. We were selling our Salem home and purchasing another home in a nearby town. We were dealt some tough cards — an «under appraisal» on the home we were purchasing as well as the need for a quick closing on our Salem house to appease the buyers. Jim went to town and got it done for us. Jim aggressively negotiated on our behalf with the seller and eventually all left the table very happy and ready to move. There were many moving parts, and the sale of both homes almost fell through but in the end, Jim made them work.
Many realtors drive around in $ 90K cars, look flashy and «talk the talk» which I often find both intimidating and off-​putting. I’d rather a realtor be a normal person. Jim is that guy. He’s a regular guy who knows EVERYTHING about homes… new and old. He’s not «in your face» and knows what you want on both the buying and selling side of the transaction.
In short, if you’re looking for a home in the north shore of MA, you’d be a fool not to use Jim. He’s amazing and we couldn’t be happier.
