Cutting Edge Salon

Note this review is not about the quality of the services. Good luck even getting an appointment. I called several times on the phone then went down to the shop and had to leave my phone number to have someone call me to make an appointment because they were too busy. No one ever called! Tried calling the posted phone again (several times) and never got an answer. My opinion… Don’t bother I found someone else.

I go to Brittani here at Cutting Edge and she does great work! I’ve gone from so many different hair colors and each one has looked great! The salon is clean and open and in a good location. Brittani takes her time while always being fun to talk to. Right now I have a balayage and she does great at them, I highly recommend her.

I am a happy woman. I FINALLY found a hair stylist who knows what she’s doing. Shirin at The Cutting Edge has Magic Scissors, I swear.
After four disastrous encounters with various salons around town, I had shapeless, over processed, dry dry dry hair. And when my hair looks bad, I feel bad. Scratch that. I was miserable. I was losing hope of ever finding anyone who could fix this disaster, and started thinking that I just needed to cut it all off and start over from scratch. Then I stumbled onto numerous reviews of TCE on a different website, ALL of them glowing about this magician named Shirin. What did I have to lose?
I walked in and was warmly greeted by Shirin, and was immediately struck by how genuine and sweet she was. After just five minutes of sitting in her chair, I already felt confident that she knew what she was doing. She listened to me, assessed my hair, and gave me a proposal of how we could proceed. Sounded good to me, so I said go! She finished the initial cut and then warm air diffused it to see how it would look when I did it myself at home. She «fine tuned» the cut and when she finished, it looked fresh and healthy.
We discussed future care because, once hair is damaged, it needs a delicate touch until it’s all trimmed away. She told me to continue to deep condition and when I’m ready for highlights again, she already has a plan in place.
She completely won me over. I am firmly on Team Shirin. Book an appointment. You’ll love her.
