I’ve visited this location for RV propane on and off for the last 8 years. The service had been great but even better, the hours of operation. I knew that no matter what time of the day that I returned from a trip, I could refill my propane there. Even late at night. I stopped in one evening and was advised that the older gentleman no longer works there and that though they still offer propane all hours, there was no one in duty to pump it. I offered to pump it for them but understandably, they declined. I left without propane with the suggestion that I call from now on prior to going down there. The next time I needed propane, I called. A young lady answered the phone, I explained what I wanted and that I was 25 minutes away. She said to come on down. When I got there, there was no on on duty to fill my RV. When I explained that I had called first, the young lady offered that she misunderstood what I wanted. I was quite clear, a 40′ RV with a 100 lb tank. She refused me propane. I emailed the manager who quickly responded with an apology for the inadequate help but that there would be a discount card there next time I came in. I hadn’t gone back to redeem it. Last Sunday, at 6:15 pm, I happen to be driving by so I stopped in to see if I could get refilled. The excuse its time was that they were waiting for a price increase from the home office and that she couldn’t sell any until she knew the price. Not believing what I was hearing, I asked for the manager. Mary responded that she was the manager and that she can’t sell propane. vsye couldn’t have cared less. I offered cash, any price she wanted. Offered to leave my credit card, whatever she wanted but she refused to sell any. Since the older gentleman stopped working there, the customer service is non existing. I drive 20 – 25 minutes to get there but it was always worth it due to the hours of operation and the suburb customer service. If they don’t want to sell propane, get out of the business. I won’t be trying again. And I’ll be certain to tell everyone I can.

Guess What? Hess now has a self service Dunkin Donuts! Yeah, really! I have never saw a self serve DD before and cool! They closed for about a week to install it and are now re-open. The prices are the same as a normal full service DD so that is weird and just not right. They have self serve donuts too. But no bagels or hot food.
