Hollywood Nails

I have thin, long hair so finding a stylist that knows how to cut my hair correctly is very hard. I don’t live in the area but my parents do so when I was in town last time my mom recommended Wendy. She was awesome! So knowledgable. It was the first haircut I didn’t have to go home and fix in a while!
I’m in town again (I’ve literally waited a year to get my hair cut just so I could go back to Hollywood Hair– I liked it that much!) and I couldn’t see Wendy because she was out sick. However, I had Ivy and she was just as wonderful! I can’t stop flipping my hair and looking at myself in the mirror. I love love love it. And I am not an easy person to please when it comes to my hair. I highly recommend this salon!

I was in Salem and needed a manicure stat! I stopped in and got one in 15 minutes for $ 12. She didn’t clean up the traces of paint on my fingers like most salons do. And it started chipping the very next day. Will do in a pinch, but wouldn’t be my regular spot.

I purchased a Groupon since I just recently moved to Roanoke and wasn’t sure where to start. I haven’t had my hair cut, colored, or highlighted for nearly 6 months, so it was in pretty bad shape. Wendy was amazing! She was very attentive and wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with each step of the way. She kept me informed on what she was doing, what she thinking and what she thought would look good based on my input and pictures. I would highly recommend them!!!

I bought a groupon for Hollywood nails and was disappointed. The place was very cold, the service was very slow (they had 1 technician doing 2 people’s nails while 2 other employees were just hanging out), my nails didn’t dry properly, and they look bad. Friendly staff, but I do not recommend it.

They do hair, but not the best place. The haircut was inexpensive but the jeers and comments have been free flowing ever since.
