I absolutely LOVED living here! We lived in the townhouses. They were a good amount of space for reasonable rent. 2 bedrooms, 2 ½ baths separate living and dining spaces, and a built in desk. So awesome! Every time we had a maintenance issue, maintenance was there within a few hours tops. We had an issue with one of our neighbors at one point, but we let the office know and they took care of it. No more issues. :-) The amenities are nice. And last but not least, you are within walking distance to everything in Salem! If I didn’t move to Florida, I would still be living at Jefferson at Salem Station. To this day, although I love my Florida sunshine, I miss my townhome and living IN Salem. It was a blast! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that sometimes parking over there got to be a pain. You only get one assigned parking spot. If you have more than one car, the other car has to use the guest spot. There would often be cars with no parking decal in the guest spots but the office rarely did anything about it. They would just send«notices» to the residents because it often happened after the office closed for the day and the only way to get the cars moved or towed would be when the office was open. The snow removal was also not the quickest turnaround time either. Honestly, nearly all apartments nowadays have an issue with parking. So if you’re thinking of moving here, I still say go for it! Especially if you are looking into the townhomes! Great amount of space for a great price right in the heart of Salem!

The management staff here is less than accommodating. My roommate and I had an issue with one of our neighbors, not going into detail but it escalated to a restraining order, and the management did absolutely nothing. Since we had just moved in three months prior to our issue we asked to be moved to another apartment. We knew there were available apartments because they were listed everywhere! But he staff told us there was only one and it would cost us $ 200 more. Ridiculous! We already pay a ridiculous amount in rent, which doesn’t even include adequate parking, and to have to increase it because they allow lunatics to live there is absurd. After legally breaking our lease the apartment managers acted as is they did us a favor by not charging us fees, when legally they couldn’t. Regardless, I realize this is an isolated event but management was less than pleasant with accommodating our needs and safety. Other issues of the complex include people not picking up their dog waste(it’s everywhere!), parking is a nightmare, snow removal is a disaster as well(never park on an end spot during a storm or they will make your car the new pile), the bathrooms contain mold, drains clog constantly, the doors only contain one flimsy dead bolt lock no handle lock and when we asked of we could add another they said no unless we planned on replacing the whole door when we left, the noise level is pretty high and kids run around the halls all hours of the day, but regardless of all the other upsets our biggest concern was out safety and management simple did not give a damn.
